Company description
The Forte + Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1950.
Located located in a former center of the metal industry, our roots originally in the production of machine parts for the textile industry. Addition to specializing in the wire processing in the field needle manufacturing and processing, we were involved in the course of history in the fields of metal forming, punching and deep drawing.
In 1980, in a generation change the management was handed over to the daughter of a founder of the company, the way was open for expansion and future-oriented technologies. Thus, since 1982, the CNC milling an important business of the company. In conjunction with the latest CAD / CAM systems is the process, then and now, always conducted with the highest standards.
In the following decades Forte + Wegmann has developed technologies and products for various markets. For example, we manufacture metal housing for electronic modules, we are active in tool and mold making, we produce erosion electrodes, etc.Currently, we produce a wide selection of parts for the aerospace industry and supply industrial partners throughout Germany.
In order to raise the profile of our corporate priorities Forte + Wegmann is divided into three business areas since 2004. The extension of our original core competence, the CNC milling technology, which is now incorporated "divicut" in the business, was a logical step for us to remain competitive for the future challenges.
The second business, "divisign" includes the three-dimensional measuring technology and digitization with optical instruments. So "divisign" offers 3D scanning services and software for 3D metrology, reverse engineering, 3D visualization, and - in conjunction with "Divicut" - Rapid Prototyping (HSC / 3D printing) to.
"Divimac", the third division, dedicated to the assembly of components. In this business modules are completed.
