Company description
METALPRESS: 50 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN SHEET METAL WORKING AND FORMING
Metalpress is a subcontracting company, based in Verona – Italy, specialising in cold forming and deep drawing and in particular in the production of D-type and E-type dished ends.
We mainly process stainless and carbon steel through the use of mechanical and hydraulic presses.
Since 2007 we have been certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 guarantee full monitoring and traceability of the production process: from raw material ordering all the way to after-sales service.
In 2020 we also obtained AD 2000 W0 and PED 2014/68/EU certification for the processing of carbon steel for the production of dished heads.
We are active in many sectors: our bottom are used in the bathroom hot water industry, food&beverage, chemical-pharmaceutical and cryogenic sectors. In the industry for the production of tanks, pressure vessels and LNG tanks, and in the production of braziers, pumps and household appliances.
We provide a washing and degreasing service on request. We carry out various types of edging, drilling (both central and lateral) and we also make flanged bottoms, fixing the flange by mechanical seaming, without welding.
Our technicians are able to analyse the feasibility of each single formed part, offering specialised advice for each type of product. Our Quality Department is able to carry out any type of tests or measurements, with particular focus on tolerances and final thicknesses.
On request, the CP-CPK values are checked to obtain free-pass supply approval.
The automation of processes and the integration of systems in an Industry 4.0 perspective have allowed us to improve production performance by guaranteeing a more efficient and customised service.
