The GDW SÜD is a cooperative of recognized institutions for the disabled working with around 26,000 employees at 178 locations workshop in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and the Saarland.

We have the status of a concentration of recognized workshops for people with disabilities (sheltered workshops), so that even with us the eligibility of severely disabled persons levy takes effect.

Gas springs



We produce all common types of gas springs in a pressure tube diameter from 15mm to 28mm and forces von10N to 2500N. Our strength lies in the production of gas springs according to special requests. It does not matter if they only require a gas spring or several hundred gas springs, through our long-standing know-how, we are able to produce in a very short time, the gas springs according to your wishes. The delivery time for your order is obtained depending on the order in which our name stands for short delivery times and high quality products.



Gas springs are a closed system, filled with a pressurized nitrogen gas. For damping oil is used. The extension and retraction is determined by the brake nozzle bore on the piston. The multitude of connections and attachments facilitate assembly and make the gas spring can be used universally. Gas springs are used everywhere where is raised and lowered, while they assist the muscle power and provide controlled motion for lids, flaps, hoods, etc.

With the founding of the company in 1983 developed, built and Ebert brothers with cam-controlled micro lathes worked. Were produced and are used on these lathes diverse micro turned parts, such as for medical and electronics industries, gas appliances and accessories for fishing reels.

1995 attracted the brothers Ebert in the company's own new building in the industrial area Markranstadt / Kulkwitz. The company has been concentrating its now ten employees particularly in the development and creation of rational machines. These include automatic drilling (Nominated in 2001 for the Innovation Award of the Saxon government) of 0.5 mm to 2 mm and 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm in diameter. In addition, assembly machines, special machines and upsetting the purchase of a Durchlauflötofens (brazing). This work means form the basis for the production of a small hydraulic assembly for the automotive industry.
