We are a family-run company specializing in the production of machine components on CNC-controlled lathes, milling machines and grinding machines. Our contract manufacturing options are precise, flexible and diverse.

Based on technical drawings, machine components are produced in a three-shift operation. With our machines and over 30 employees we are able to meet highest quality requirements. Our range of customers includes the gear manufacturing industry, hydraulic, recycling and the construction machinery industry as well as the general mechanical engineering.

The production consists of individual parts as well as small and medium-sized batch sizes. Our 19 machines cover a wide variety of machining possibilities. We work with materials either provided by you or offered by us. Competent partners are available for those work-flow procedures which are not covered by us including e.g. heat treatment, gearing and welding work. This enables us to produce complete components and assemblies.

Our goal is to completely satisfy you in terms of management, technical advice, flexibility, quality and the adherence to delivery dates. With over 25 years experience in this business, we successfully follow these values.

Using the most up-to-date equipment, we manufacture smaller and larger production runs, turned parts, shafts and special screws for the most varied clientele at home and abroad. We provide customer-specific laser marking, vibratory grinding and individual packaging with brand logos. And when it comes to more specialised jobs, we can depend on local, long-standing, reliable partners.

We produce the required parts according to your specifications, using all current materials, in diameters ranging from 4 to 65 mm and with a maximum length of up to 600 mm. We process predominantly machining steels, as well as various types of stainless steel and aluminium. Depending on the size and complexity of the production run, we produce workpieces on CNC multi-spindle and turning centres and long-part lathes.

For the further machining of blanks and more complex workpieces, Rumpel utilises highperformance automatic thread rolling and rotary indexing machines, universal lathes, high-precision milling and turning centres, as well as centreless grinding machines.

On request, we are able to produce individual parts and mount further components onto assemblies.

The different kinds of turned screws we produce can be manufactured with standard metric or American / English threads, with fine-pitch threads or various thread pitches.

Torx® and Torx Plus®
Rumpel holds a licence to manufacture both of these copyright-protected drive systems. These drives are capable of delivering high levels of torque without damaging the screw head. They reduce assembly times, increase productivity and improve performance on assembly lines.

Our Story:



The company was founded in 1994 by Heinz-Josef Schlemmer as a sole proprietorship on part-time basis. The basis was the further handling of turned parts in wages for the turned parts industry.



After a short time the first cam-type machines were put into operation, it was followed by the acquisition of a property with about 150 m2 of commercial space. In the year 2000/2002 and 2004 made further purchases of CNC lathes, whereby the premises were again too tight.



In the year 2005 is Mr. Schlemmer the opportunity to acquire the company Johann Schnekenburger GmbH, where he was employed full since 1983.



The company JDS, which was founded in 1950 by Johann Schnekenburger and until 2005 was in the second generation of family ownership, was for more than 50 years in the field of fastening technology on the market. It screws of all types were produced.



The companySchlemmer of turned parts had been operating successfully for over 10 years in the field.
With the acquisition of the company by Johann Schnekenburger Schlemmer that production range was extended many times and it was founded in the gourmet Metalworking & Fasteners GmbH & Co KG.
