Upper Lusatian workshops offer a wide range of fields of activity

The Oberlausitzer Werkstätten (OLW) are part of Diakoniewerks Oberlausitz gGmbH.
In the Upper Lusatian Workshops, people with disabilities have the opportunity to participate in working life and vocational training in accordance with Sections 219 - 227 SGB IX and the Workshop Ordinance.

Around 1200 people with disabilities work at a total of six locations in the districts of Bautzen and Görlitz. They are guided, accompanied and professionally trained by qualified specialists.

Vocational education is standardized and is carried out in the vocational training sector in accordance with the PRACTICE MODULE procedure on the basis of statutory training framework plans. After successful completion of vocational education (performance assessment), participants are issued certificates by the responsible chambers.

DIM.KO ENGINEERING , is a CNC machining and more subcontracting business with ISO 9001:2015 certificate and quality control room with CMM machine based in Thessaloniki, Greece and is housed in privately owned premises of 2.500 sq.m.

Drault Décolletage, founded in 2002 is a team of qualified and certified professionals. They are recognized for their flexibility and ability to react to the market needs, both nationally and internationally. They provide excellent service and are competitive.

Drault Décolletage manufactures parts from plan from 0.3 mm to 40 mm. They are able to produce parts in quantities from 10 000 to several million pieces in all types of metal : stainless steel, steel, brass, nickel, etc...

History
The company Theo Liebermann was founded in 1972 by Theo Liebermann and his wife Maria Luise Liebermann. First, the production took place in improvised workshop rooms that were in the basement of the apartment building. There machines were used, which were taken over by the former employer. First orders the company received Theo Liebermann from other turners.
In 1988, the turning shop "Peter watches" was adopted. The move to the new production facilities was 1995.

In 2003, Mr. Ralf Liebermann the management of the operation. In 2006 the company was in Liebermann GmbH & Co.KG renamed.

Currently 14 employees work in the company.


Products
On 6 multi-spindle machines from Tornos, 16 Long-moving and a short turning automatic turned parts are manufactured with high precision aluminum, steel and brass. The parts produced have dimensions of about 2-20 mm in diameter and a length up to 250 mm.

Commisioning of the new CNC lathe machine

In August 2007, our long-turning machine was taken from the type "Star SR 20 R II" in operation. After extensive training and several test runs the end of August already completed the initial customer orders on the new machine.
The results obtained turned out so positive that already in the spring of 2008, the purchase of another machine of the same type is planned.
In the future, we will contribute by investing in new technologies to further improve the quality of our products and to respond more flexibly to the needs of our customers.

We have been manufacturing large mechanical parts of up to 20t since 1946. Our core competencies include milling, turning and grinding. We process a wide variety of materials such as steel, chrome steel, aluminum, titanium, bronze or plastic. Elmec has been on the market since 1979, specialising in the manufacture of automatic turning and related products for the production of small metal products cut from bars, operating on behalf of third parties on specific orders for the production of medium and large runs.

The company is dynamic and constantly growing and currently operates out of its own covered premises with an area of around 4,300 m2, which is divided into offices, workshop and warehouses and employing a workforce of 32 people.
