The Sumitomo Electric Hard Metal Corporation Japan manufactures in its own carbide, cermet, silicon nitride, CBN (Sumiboron) and PCD (Sumidia) a wide range of indexable inserts and solid carbide cutting tools for milling and drilling applications.



Based in Willich near Dusseldorf Sumitomo Electric Carbide GmbH, which is ISO 9002 accredited, is responsible for the European sales activities in the field cutting tools.



Our sales office "Sumitomo Electric Carbide GmbH Succursale France" in Paris supplied the French market.



For sales and service in the UK and Ireland is our sister company "Sumitomo Electric Hard Metal Ltd.." responsible in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.



The Sumitomo Electric Carbide factory GmbH leek home made multi drill drills with which holes can be drilled with Aufreibtoleranzen at high feed speeds, and Sumiboron (CBN) - and Sumidia (PCD) cutting tools.
