Foundry RAFAMET Ltd provides a comprehensive package of casting services, ranging from analysis and the development of technical documentation, through the execution of pattern units up to casting and machining.

The vast majority of our products are grey and ductile castings for engineering, shipbuilding, energy and mining industries.

We specialize in production of iron in the following grades:

Cast iron: 200, 250, 300 and 350 according to PN/EN 1561
Weight range 500 – 40.000 kg.
Ductile iron: 400-12, 400-15, 400-18, 500-7, 600-3 and 700-2 according to PN/EN 1563
Weight range: 500 – 30.000 kg.

The production capacity is 7000 tons per year.

Stable mechanical properties and low varied hardness of produced cast iron have a great impact on their suitability for structure components for all kinds of metal processing machines.

We specialize in large-scale castings made in ground pits with dimensions max. 20000 x 4000 x 2000.

Odlewnia Tarnów Sp. z o.o. (Tarnów foundry) specialises in cast iron castings and, as the only foundry in Poland, it uses Kolene Kastech Electrolytic casting cleaning process on Degussa production line.

Our technology allows for manufacturing rough castings in accuracy class III according to PN 76-H/89205 (GTB-15 and GTB-16 according to DIN 1686). The level of the Ra parameter which characterizes the quality of the rough casting surface is from 25 to 100 ųm depending on the construction of the casting and the type of shots used for dressing.

Our company has over 25 years experience in foundry technology. Over time, the operation has grown to a size that required the legal form of a general partnership. Both partner Edyta Ordon and Bernard Siminski interest in the capital of the company to 50%. Our company produces iron castings in series production.




In the foundry Siminski - Ordon is molded with the molding machine DISA 130. The molding machine has the following parameters:

In the field of mechanical processing, we work with many Polish and foreign companies. We engage over 2000 tons per year.
Our finished products meet high quality standards

We are die-castings & gravity castings producer. The company was found in 1985 in Poland. Currently produced castings are made on 32 high pressure die casting machines (horizontal, vertical, cold- & hot-chamber) with the locking force range from 53t to 1100 t and vacuum vert-a-cast type 400t machine. We make castings from non-ferrous alloys (aluminium, zinc, brass and lead). Our company is equipped with vacuum-pressure resin impregnation line, shot-blasting and sand blasting machines, vibratory grinding machines, threading and drilling machines. Our toolroom is equipped with CNC machining centers, lathes, milling machines, spark erosion machine, surface grinding machines, cylindrical grinding machine etc. Quality control dep. is equipped with spectrometers, durability testing machine, hardness testers, X-ray machine and measuring machine. We cooperate with tool makers, electroplaters and painters (wet and powder). We export our products to Germany, France, UK, USA, Italy & others. ISO 9001 certificate was awarded to our company in the year 2000.

We manufacture cost primarily small castings:

in single, series and mass production.

The largest part of our range of products is manufactured on an automatic molding line. With this system we are able to manufacture a broad range of high quality and dimensional accuracy.

The melting operation was completely renovated in 1991. Two modern medium frequency of ABB were installed, which allow a wide range of materials.
