Officine Meccaniche Irpine (OMI), has worked in the Aerospace Industry for over thirty years, consolidating supply relationships and establishing collaborations with major national industries for the production of parts and equipment. Production departments were started and developed in “Industrial Area Calaggio” in Lacedonia, a province of Avellino, in a covered production area of 10,000 M², the base for over ninety staff. While in The P.I.P Area of Vallata, a few kilometres from the historic OMI base, two new plants, both of 7,500 M², have been established, to support surface treatment processes and the manufacturing of composite parts.

By concentrating on technological innovation and a high level of professional content, as well as unquestionable moral values, OMI has fully established itself in the Aerospace industry, becoming a leader in mechanical machining and with the ability to complete production cycles
with vertically integrated processes, thus enabling the company to satisfy all the needs of structural configuration for fixed or rotary wings.

OMI production is carefully controlled, by multi- dimensional checks and process controls which always guarantee exceptionally high quality levels. Continued expansion has encompassed advanced technologies, complemented by automated processes for inspection, multi-dimensional checks and surface treatments (galvanising and painting).

As well as industrial participation in important aircraft programs, Airbus, Boeing and Lockheed Martin, OMI has an experimental department researching aeronautical parts and innovative processes for the manufacture of composite materials, including support to the general aviation industry.

The Research and Development unit is responsible for the development of innovative products, and the experimentation with new technologies, with the objective of reducing production costs and improving the functional capabilities of products, whether these be parts, assemblies, equipment, tools or other special items.

I would like to briefly introduce our company.

In September 2004, Mr. Johann Nussbaumer founded with the OTN GmbH in St. Georgen am Fillmannsbach (district Braunau) the largest galvanizing plant in Austria.

Since our factory but already has reached its capacity limits, OTN opened in Sinabelkirchen (district Weiz) now already a second plant.

As a location for the second galvanizing OTN Sinabelkirchen is the best choice,

In addition to the traffic-favorable access to the A2 to Sinabelkirchen characterized by strong customer focus.

Both the Slovak which Hungarian and Slovene space approach routes to the galvanizing have therefore been considerably shortened.

Many of our customers who have been galvanized abroad now benefit from significantly lower transport costs

and the run shops towards Germany.
