The company was founded in 1982 by Gerardo Melillo and began its activities in the engineering sector. Over the years, thanks to the changing nature of the South market, the company has gone in other sectors such as the construction of prefabricated houses in areas affected by the earthquake and mechanical structural work. Thanks to our web of Italian partners, including high quality aluminium and cast-iron foundries, we can offer a “Turn Key” service, starting from the purchase of raw material until the supply of parts ready to be assembled. We also care about heat or surface treatment and painting. We manage internally dimensional controls, eventual leaking tests and certificates raising.

Precision Mechanics is historically our core business and still counts the higher number of dedicated operators and machineries. We produce complex milling and turning parts in unitary and small/medium quantities: single prototypes and pre-series lots, spare parts and special formats, experimental parts, dies and models.

MECCANICA SUGAMOSTO is specialized in mechanical milling, made by the use of computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Our milling and turning service allows us to manufacture high precision mechanical components on customer’s drawing, using multiple materials such as stainless steel, iron, aluminium, bronze, copper, brass, hardened materials, plastics.

Every step of the machinig process is carried out by a specialized technician, able to meet the requirements of our customer in terms of precision and speed of realization.


CAD DESIGN

For the design of high precision mechanical components MECCANICA SUGAMOSTO uses Topsolid'Cam by Missler Software, which enables to set the machining operations in detail.


PRECISION MILLING

MECCANICA SUGAMOSTO manufactures precision milling parts by the use of CNC machines with max. strokes 5000x1200x2000 mm.


PRECISION TURNING

MECCANICA SUGAMOSTO produces high precision turned components using CNC machines with max.turning diameter 230 mm, max. stroke 280 mm and traditional lathes with max. turning diameter 600 mm, L=3000 mm.



QUALITY CONTROL

MECCANICA SUGAMOSTO performs quality control through the use of dimensional inspection machines, such as the altimeter TRIMOS MITUTOYO LH600D/DG, ensuring high standards of precision in the manufacture.
