Morthorst Tools & Design GmbH, based in Oschersleben (Bode), was founded in 2018 and is developing into a nationwide successful partner in metal processing with a focus on CNC turning and milling.

Our particular strength lies in the high flexibility in the production of turned and milled parts, as well as the production of special / individual parts, on our modern CNC and cycle-controlled lathes.

Moru has been our location in Romania for 20 years, near the city of Sibiu, also known as Hermannstadt.

Our 60 employees produce high-quality turned parts and subassemblies from semi-finished products, often in large quantities of several thousand parts.

The turning competence there is supplemented by milling centres, presses and welding robots, so that we can react very quickly and flexibly to any customer requirements with the high level of vertical integration

Simultaneous, multi-axis high-tech machines
Our machinery offers maximum precision and speed. Our machines with different kinematics cover the production of most types of components. With our mobile laser scanner, we can check the workpiece even during CNC processing. To achieve low cycle times, we use high-speed cutting tools (HSC). Our measurements are carried out in an air-conditioned measuring room, where our highly qualified measurement technicians continuously check the components throughout the entire manufacturing process. When manufacturing complex components, we use heat treatment and coating to ensure the highest quality, regardless of the base material. Our plant has excellent expertise in reconstructing and reverse-engineering workpieces, even without available technical documentation. The tech group Genthin is an owner-managed family company whose origins can be traced back to the establishment of a company in 1990. At the beginning, Mike Pietrzak traded in automotive parts and accessories. The company's change to today's tech group was the result of economic changes. These were used through sensitivity and a helping of courage to realign oneself. After completing their training, he began to involve his sons in the company. They should continue the traditional company and raise additional pillars. In 2016, the family's business acumen proved to be correct once again, and the market expansion in the industrial and energy sectors was successfully accepted. M. Paolillo Materie Plastiche has been working for thirty years in trading and processing Methacrylate (plexiglass, trespex, Perspex), Polycarbonate, Pvc, Polythene, Nylon and expanded Polystyrene, establishing himself as a safe and qualified reference for the entire industry.

To assure large production quantities and to produce extremely precise samples and prototypes, our company uses laser cutting CNC.
The experience gained during the years allowed us to specialize in furniture , scenography and shop fitting with artistic manual works. We also master unique techniques for “inclusions” in plexiglass (i.e. insertion of objects into block of plexiglass), using fluids and polystyrene materials.
