KAMA’s customers are small and medium-sized job printers, packaging printers, bookbinders and cutting shops, as well as well-known large companies around the world. Our print finishing machines are distributed in close co-operation with leading printing machine manufacturers, sales organisations and own subsidiaries. We specialize in the production of machines and components for small and medium-sized companies in the industry. Here we draw and construct either themselves or make the products according to the plans of our customers.

KAMIR, a company working in Słupsk's special economical area, specializes in sheet metal working and robotic welding. The main activity is based on welded bodies for different machines and devices, spare parts and other steel products production for needs of different companies. The 0,5-120 mm sheet metal and also all available steel profiles, bars, are used for production.

The Kamir firm was formed in 2000. The basic area of activity of the firm became the production of metal products from sheet metal by machining and plastic forming.
From the beginning we concentrated on high quality of products and services with dynamic development focused on process automatisation. Currently we have 14 industial robots working in our company. Taking account of our experience, abilities and highly automated machine park, we offer you high quality product execution from metal sheet by cutting, shearing, pressing and bending.

Company History:
1965, shortly after his master's examination, the present owner and manager Manfred Kappes became self-employed and dropped two apprentices the foundation for the Kappes Maschinenbau GmbH and the metal casting GmbH in Pfaffhausen / Bavaria and Alko cast aluminum GmbH in drive / Thuringia.
Now, in these three companies employs about 100 people and shed more than 500 tonnes of aluminum a year. This exclusively as gravity die in gravity die at a weight from 0.003 to 45 Kg

Tooling / Kokillenbau:
The duration of the form that the mold is made of steel or cast iron. Undercuts can be formed with trains, loose parts or sand cores. The sand cores are destroyed after casting.
Of course, composite casting is that doable with cast steel parts or threaded brass bushes.
Before casting, the molds are sized, that is, provided with a layer of clay, carbon black or the like. Compared to sand casting, the cooling rates in gravity casting due to the higher thermal conductivity of cast iron against sand are significantly higher. This results in a relatively fine-grained and dense structure, the better mechanical properties than sand cast from the same aluminum alloy.

Foundry:
Permanent mold casting is poured by hand, usually with the aid of hydraulic cylinders, the mold
opened. The caster takes the part, includes the shape and pours again.

Kappstein, founded in 2012, is an innovative company based in Gotha / Thuringia, that specializes in the development and production of premium bike components with a focus on bike transmission technology. In our product portfolio, amongst others, you can find fixed gear and professional track cycling products, which were partly developed in cooperation with FES (German R&D Institute for the development of equipment for Germanys top athletes) and the German Cycling federation. Kappstein supplies Germany’s top athletes with high quality stainless steel sprockets as well as 7075 T6 aluminum chain rings (see pictures attached). Due to the close cooperation with professional athletes, we were able to achieve many successes down to the present day. Concerning the manufacturing, we have already gained a lot of practical experience with various interface standards such as 9 spline, sure fit and threading sprockets. Not only the short response time, the attractive price-performance ratio and our high-quality standards, also the short delivery channels to the Universal Transmission GmbH would represent an economic advantage.
