Gabriele and Peter Paul Payr started as entrepreneurs in 1998. In the years that followed, the number of employees grew steadily and reached 20 in 2007. As a result of extensive engineering projects and the development of PAYR Production, the number of employees continued to grow - currently 55 people are employed.

Peter Paul Payr has been living out his vision of "We are PAYR!" for 20 years. An extensive investment and organizational development project is now helping to ensure growth for the company and develop confidence for the future. We are specialized for the tool construction of depth tools within the range packaging machines. In addition count beside format tools also stamping machines, perforations and feeding of tablets. By the CNC Fertigungskapazität we manufacture in the meantime also milled pieces. The materials which can be worked on are aluminum, steel, V2A, as well as thermal and thermosetting polymers. The lot sizes are enough from 1 to 5000 pieces or more highly.

Our company was founded in 1946.
Originally founded as a manufacturer of main and cam switches, the business has expanded to include the development and construction of electrical distributors. This was accompanied by the steady development of their own sheet metal production.

Today the company Merz is part of PCE Group.

We are a third-generation owner-managed metal processing company. Our production facilities are located in Finnentrop in the Sauernald Region in Germany (near Cologne). Our production focus is complex turned, bent, and milled parts.

Many of the parts we manufacture have very high quality specifications, are express orders, have small batch sizes or are distinct from other perspectives. We, for instance, process north of 200 materials, many of which we have in stock. Also parts with extraordinary dimensions, such as threaded parts with a length of 6.5 metres or more, are part of our job range.

HISTORY
The craft business, founded in 1961 by Mr. Johannes Richter Senior, has been successfully continued and expanded by Mr. Peter Richter to this day.
Our company has been located in the GADA / Bergkirchen industrial estate since 2009.
In 2013 we were able to name Mr. Stefan Frank alongside Mr. Peter Richter as managing director.
