For our customers in railway technology, mining technology, machinery, the commercial vehicles industry, agricultural machine technology as well as special vehicles we supply ready to install components. Our drop forge has its own design section and heat treating facilities as well as its own die shop. This machinery enables us to make full use of the advantages of drop forging as opposed to other processes when fulfilling your requirements.
In forging dies our strengths lie in supplying forged parts with a gross weight of 200 g to 120 kg. The production lengths are up to 1,370 mm. We specialise in producing small to medium-sized batches.
We fulfil the high quality requirements of our customers as is proven by our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification as well as HPQ Permanent Way and HPQ Railway rolling stock product quality certification granted us specially for supplying Deutsche Bahn (the German Railways). The idea of founding a research and development institute dates back to 1967. In that time some workers at PPS Detva started to consider the establishment of an independent research and development centre.
After that a new workstation employing the design engineers and including the protype workshop was found in PPS Detva later on (March 1, 1969) establishing Development Institute in Zvolen. The main aim of the institute is to research and develop construction and earthmoving machines and their aggregates.
The first machines developed and manufactured at the Research and Development Institute were bucket loaders UNC 151 and UN 050 which had been successfully produced for several years. Owing to its advanced conception in 1972 slewing bucket loader UN 050 represented within its category a new generation of machines with hydrostatic drive of working aggregates as well as of transmission and output regulation.
Company is specialized in manufacture of mid size welded structures up to length 3500mm, max. weight 8 000kg including machining on horizontal boring machine.
