Variel is a company with more than 40 years long tradition. Production plant was established in 1964 as a subsidiary of the then state enterprise Montážní podnik spojů Praha (Prague Telecommunications Installation Corporation). Company has been satisfying needs of large space shelters and covers for various technologies installation.

In 1985 were original technological huts completed by technological containers, designed mainly for installation of telecommunication technologies. Technological huts OPD and LB are delivered mostly for gas leading, water leading, energetic and railways systems distributors and providers.

Among of Variel products are also components for city public use as telephone booths, mailboxes, sell stands, bins, bus stops, railway stops, etc. Telephone booths and boxes have become integral part of all Czech towns and villages.

As a part of fibreglass production we realise (except standard production of children slides and assembling parts of other products) also special orders as bonnet parts for busses and trucks, TV antenna towers sheeting, etc. Newly exploited technology of fibreglass winding allows supplying of unique corpuses of railway transport vehicles.

Company has production plants as locksmith shop, material preparation hall with PC controlled enginery for cutting and bending, painting hall with modern painting boxes, fibreglass shop with equipment for injection fibreglass production and winding technology, assembling hall and its auxiliary shops as joiner and machining halls. There is for development of new products modern designing and constructing office.

We are a holder of certificates ISO 9001, ISO 14001 und big welding certificate.

The company is located on the outskirts of Zruč nad Sázavou. Train tracks lead to the company from a nearby station, thereby extending transportation possibilities for a town which lies about sixty kilometres south east of Prague, and five kilometres from highway D1 (connecting Brno to Prague).

Realizovali jsme na zakázku bazén ze soutěžního pořadu České televize "HODINA PRAVDY".

V oblasti výroby jímek, septiků a vodoměrných šachet patří převážně mezi odběratele stavební firmy - Metrostav, Vodní zdroje Praha, Východočeská stavební a.s., Profistav Litomyšl atd.

V oblasti vakuového tváření plastů jsou největšími odběrateli firmy Rojek a.s. Častolovice, R.W.T. s r.o. Rychnov nad Kněžnou, SOR s r.o.Libchavy-výrobce autobusů, Daniševský s.r.o. Polička-zdravotní zařízení.

V oblasti výroby světelných reklam, propagační činnosti jsme realizovali zakázky pro firmy Panasonic, Technics, Ufesa, Reebok, Moeller, Mungo, Auto Štangl, Autoturist, JVC, Pivovar Hlinsko v Čechách, Pivovar Krakonoš, Pivovar Jihlava, Pivovar Janáček.

Sheet Moulding Compound (SMC)
SMC is glass-fibre reinforced, semi-manufactured plastic (composite), suitable for the products that have to comply with the most stringent requirements.
VDL Wientjes Emmen also manufactures SMC for third parties.

High temperature pressing
SMC can only be processed by means of high temperature pressing. The benefits of this technique are its high degree of deformity, functional integration and excellent dimensional stability in combination with a high chemical resistance and non-flammability.

Injection moulding (also 2K + gas injection)
In case where design and aesthetics have priority, injection moulding is the ideal technique, in combination with functional integration and reproducibility.
