Our company has been established in 1991 (as KUMRU Automotive) and rebranded as KMR Automotive in 2016 in terms of vision and member of boards.

We are mainly producing tubes and hoses for automotive aftermarket by tube bending, hose cutting, brazing, crimping for most of the brands and we are exporting about 70% of our total products to European and US countries. In addition, we are importing our raw materials such as pipes made of first grade of steel from Benteler Germany and hoses are from SEL (Eaton).

The Knupfer Metal Processing GmbH is a sheet-processing supplier for the machinery and special machinery for air conditioning, ventilation and suction technology, clean room technology and the automotive industry and has worked for over 50 years.

We manufacture sheet metal parts, machine covers, protective covers, enclosures, machine bases, machine body and complete assemblies from lot size 1 steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

The following material can be cut: steel up to 25.0 mm, stainless steel up to 20.0 mm (oxide-free), aluminum up to 12.0 mm material thickness.
The max. Machining size is 3000 mm x 1500 mm. All three stocking systems are connected to an automatic high bay warehouse with 220 storage bins (3 tonnes storage capacity). We are thus able to cut during the night shift without staff.

Water jet cutting

These saws, laps, mech. Since 1992 our company has been dealing with the cold bending of hollow sections. All started in the first half of the ‘90s when we intended to produce bent-metal furniture. After having mastered the bending technology of ordinary tubes made of constructional materials, we proceeded to a more demanding technology of the bending of thin-walled tubes having the bending radii under 2D of the tube diameter. Using special tools, such as ball mandrels and smoothing devices, we are able to achieve high quality of a bending both from the visual point of view and in maintaining a minimum tube diameter deformation. We obtain similar results not only with materials made of construction steel, but also with materials made of anti-corrosive steels and aluminium alloys. We also get good results with the bending of square and rectangular sections.
The main part of our production program consists in products manufactured in cooperation. These are components of shop equipment, protective frames of cross-country cars, series of various bent holders, frames, reinforcements of agricultural machines and injection piping. Other supplementary technologies are grinding of tubes under chrome, tube and section twisting, horizontal forging, MIG and TIG welding.
At present we have been looking for partners to be able to use the full capacity of our bending machines.
