Sheet metal processing
The core of our sheet metal manufacturing is the automated warehouse with connection of procedures for processing lasers, punching and bending.
This can also be edited unmanned large series in three shifts series and individual parts or less staff.
Our automated Biegezele can take on the boards of the laser or stamping plants over the camp.
We process steel, stainless steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals.

Tube processing
The mandrel bending and free-form bending is ideally complemented by our tube laser cutting systems.
We offer pipe, profile and wire bending parts in series quality and any quantity.
Transformations at the pipe ends or Rohrkonstuktionen with customized intersections are possible.
The mechanical pre-processing, we can place on our CNC machines.

Powder coating
Our components we finish with a high quality surface coating.
Our own powder coating system allows to coat large and small components economically in each lot size.
The continuous flow system has 4 zones Degreasing and iron phosphating.
The components can be up to 3.4 meters long and 1.5 x 1.2 meters in size.

Companies employing more than 20 workers are required to pay a compensatory levy in the event that they do not employ recognized severe disabilities in their operation. Our company was founded in 1991 as a sole proprietorship with 2 main profiles,
Metalworking and trading.

In 2004 we got the opportunity to become a supplier for a well-known automotive
Component manufacturer (BPW Hungaria Kft). In 2007 we have our first CNC
bought a controlled lathe. In 2009 we built a new workshop in Szombathely
Thanks to our order situation we were able to get our machine part in 2012 and 2013
expand.

The firm Otto Rüegg AG is a small Swiss business, a so-called SME ( Small and Medium-sized Enterprise). This enterprise is a pure supplier — i.e. we do not have any of our own products with which we go on the market, but offer our service, which would be: Machining production of precision parts made of plastic.

Machining means: turning, milling and drilling.



For 40 years we have exclusively machined plastics. We process all plastics – which are available as semi-finished products (plates/disks, rods and conduits) – into ready-to-install machine and instrument parts.



Materials such as Pa 6, Pa 6.6, Pa 12, POM, PVC, PET, PE, PTFE, PMMA, ABS, PC and PP are everyday terms for our staff. But in our case we also deal quite gladly with high-tech or high-performance plastics such as PEEK, PCTFE, PSU, PEI and PI.



How are these materials machined?

Materials are machined on modern, CNC-controlled machining centres, with special cutting tools and devices — and above all with specific skills and through the know-how of our staff gained through many years of experience.

You should really leave the machining of plastics to a specialist!

We produce according to drawing, prototype or CAD data.



In which dimensions or quantities is the Otto Rüegg AG offer available?

Our offer extends to turning pieces (DRM 1.0 mm to DRM 200 mm) as well as milling and drilling pieces the size of a match head (up to 400 x 400 x 300 mm). And so we are rather at home in the realm of small & fine mechanics, occasionally even in micromechanics.

As far as quantities are concerned, we are certainly not a bulk commodity manufacturer. Prototypes, pilot runs and series up to 5,000 pieces comprise 95 % of our offer, in which case we would rather supply 50 parts at 100 Swiss francs each than 5,000 pieces at 1 Swiss franc each!
