We are a family company established in 1993. We manufacture the following: machinery and equipment, molds, zigs, metal construction, CAD-CAM, moulds for injection molding, investment casting, 5- axis milling (aluminium and steel) and welding (steel constructions and stainless steel)

Since 2003, we are also engaged in manufacturing sports gear especially for the Ski-industry .

Today our company has over 27 specialized, highly experienced technicians.

Our main program is production of Al sand and permanent mould castings in a total weight of 850tons per year destined for mechanical, textile, building and automobile industry, art casting and equipment for towns and municipalities. Our mechanical work-shop provides full cutting of aluminium casts and other materials (brass, steel, plactic and others).

History of our company

Tradition of Kovolit Česká dates back to 1936 when we started with building and production of drink fittings and bell-casting. Bell-casting had been done by Mr Manousek by 1953. Afer that this production was moved to Zbraslav. The production of drink fittings was finished in 1990.
Present situation

Nowadays Kovolit Česká specializes in production of aluminium sandcasting and moulds. Our 50 years´ experience in this field represents profound knowledge that can be seen in quality and accuracy of our deliveries. Total annual production is roughly 900tons of Al moulds per year. The main customers are engineering, textile and construction companies. The weight of aluminium casts are from 0.10kg 400kg. Our foundry offers models, moulds, cores and a process of sand drying. Due to customers´ wishes we also provide heat treatment, hardening, x-ray of aluminium moulds and testing of mechanical qualities of materials. A mechanical work-shop, that provides cast machining, milling, turning, grinding, drilling, varnishing and production of mechanical parts from all kinds of materials (Al, Ms, steel, stainless steel, plactic and others), is a part of our company. Kovolit Česká employs about 130 workers.

We offer you plastic injection molding of the highest quality at fair conditions. In the injection molding process, plastic granules are plasticized and then injected into a mold under high pressure. In this way, plastic parts between 0.1 g and 2500 g can be produced quickly and inexpensively in large, medium and small series.

Using advanced CAD / CNC technology we are able to produce complicated tools and molds for foundries, forging and plastic syringes. We also offer prototypes and prototype tools and 3-D design and product development with Catia V4 / V5.

Our machinery allows both the machining of small parts and series, as well as the machining of large workpieces up to a size of 3000 x 2000 mm. The maximum workpiece weight is limited to 2 t.
