Family Aluminium foundry, we are specialized in gravity die casting, we develope the project with internal software and co design with client new casting, we could also do simulation. We are specialized in big casting with thikness area, we work for technicall lighting, biomed, mecchanical trasmission, and other. Our goal is follow the new need of market, flexibility and quality and good costs.

The new Fonderie Alluminio Tazzari S.p.a. has been established in 2014 from the merger of the two aluminum foundries of the Tazzari Group: Fomet Spa and Shell Casting Srl with the modern pattern making Modelleria Imolese Srl, based on the know-how of 50 years of history and experience and continuous development in the aluminum castings world, where Tazzari is italian leader since 1963.
The company is located in two plants in Imola for a total of 19000 sqm covered and employ today about 150 persons with a turnover of 25 Mil€ in 2014. It produces small-medium and large aluminum castings up to 3000 kg/each of weight and gravity die-casting as well as low-pressure die-casting from 1kg/each to 40 kg/each. Fonderie Alluminio Tazzari SpA made an high quality production of 2 million of aluminum castings in 2014.
Strong points: finished items can be offered (mechanical machining outsourced by long-term partners), pattern manufacturing and cores production is integrated.
Activity fields: marine, ski-lifts, energy, automotive, motorcycle, vacuum pumps.
Main reference customers: ZF, SCM, DOPPELMAYER-POMAGALSKI-LEITNER, ANSALDO, IHI-MITSUBISHI, LEYBOLD, HYUNDAI, MV AGUSTA, DUCATI, LAMBORGHINI, ABB.

Since the foundation of the company in 1993, our main goal has been to produce reliable and quality technological equipment for our customers in Lithuania and abroad. Today FORMATEKA Ltd. has the team of 46 qualified employees (the administrative staff of 5 people, 5 designers and technologists, 34 people at the manufacturing division and 2 employees at the quality control division). The area of the company’s premises expanded to 1500 mm2 (300 mm2 for the administrative division). Application of CAD/CAM software and CNC hardware allows manufacturing of quality, precision and reliable products for our customers.
