As a family business, Metalldesign Schmitt deals in the broadest sense with the treatment and processing of metals of all kinds. The focus of our work is the construction and assembly of stair and balcony railings through to larger steel structures for industrial applications. We are suppliers to both industrial and private clients, but thanks to our modern machinery we can also provide various contract work services for other metalworking companies. In addition, we are also specialists in the construction of clean rooms or special custom-made products according to customer specifications.

Our company Metalldesign Schmitt was founded in 2010 and is based in the restored ensemble of the former Saarbrücken-Burbach railway repair shop, which has been prepared for all kinds of businesses. With few exceptions, the well-preserved buildings date from the time when the factory was founded (1857) and thus contribute to the unmistakable character of the location.

The METALLFORM Wächter GmbH is a dynamic, privately owned company in the field of wire and sheet metal processing. Made of stainless steel wire we develop and manufacture cleaning containers. We offer our customers expert advice, an extensive standard range in standard sizes from stock and custom tools for cleaning baskets and hordes and workpiece carriers and cargo transport systems. In the area of sheet metal production, we produce components and assemblies such as laser, bending and welding parts stainless steel sheet. Stainless steel is our specialty. For years, we develop and produce for our clients from various industries almost "everything" made of stainless steel. Depending on requirements, the surfaces are sanded, stained, wet glass bead blasted or electropolished. For extreme conditions use high quality materials such as Incoloy, Duplex or other high alloy materials are used. We are an expanding company in  ange metal processing, based directly on the A8 in Merklingen.
For high quality and fast processing of your orders we have a 18-member staff of experienced locksmiths sheet with letter welders and machine operators.

Our production area has been expanded to 1,500 m², there is work on modern Trumpf laser and various press brakes.
The centerpiece is a Stopa high-bay warehouse, with which we can get our materials immediately. We deliver with our own fleet on time and reliable finished processing the goods into the house - also powder coated, painted, galvanized and assembled.
