PTR Precision Technology GmbH is a medium-sized company based in Main valley near Frankfurt / Main. Its sister company PTR-Precision Technologies Inc. in Enfield, Ct. native to the United States. The Steigerwald beam technique has its headquarters in Maisach in the west of Munich.

PTR in Main valley has its origin in electron beam welding department of the former company Leybold-Heraeus Hanau, later Leybold AG. PTR / Enfield was formerly the electron-division of the U.S. company Hamilton Standard, Ct., While Steigerwald jet technology from the founder of modern EB-processing, hc Karl-Heinz Steigerwald, was founded.

CNC - Turning and milling, plastic injection molding, Mold


SPIN:
As a service within the rotation range we manufacture CNC turned parts from diameter 3mm to 60mm of the rod and insert parts up to diameter 200mm, our machines are equipped with driven tools, C-axis and sub spindle. For automatic turned parts up to diameter 25mm and lot sizes from 10,000 piece we manufacture inexpensive to cam-type automatic lathes.

MILLING:
In milling are paths of X = 550mm, Y = 400mm and 4 Axis available.
3D freeform surfaces, 4 Axis machining and digitizing on the milling machine we offer in addition to the normal 2D to milling.
Series parts from turning and milling can labeled (signature area X = 95mm, Y = 95mm, Z = 200mm stylus engraving) and with its own vibratory finishing plant are processed free of burrs or with the appropriate surface finish on.

PLASTIC INJECTION:
In the injection molding field, we have closing forces to 70to.and mounting dimensions of 296mm x 396mm (ARBURG MACHINES) to available except PVC materials we process all common thermoplastics and elastomers.

MOLD:
Manufacture of plastic injection molds with 296mm x 396mm Aufspannmaßen up from usual trade Formaufbauten Meusburger or according to customers from other manufacturers. In addition to data transfer from CAD data (sat, iges, step, dxf dwg and for the CAM program development), we also offer designing of plastic injection molded parts to customer specifications.
Also mold plates for aluminum die casting, we can manufacture according to customer specifications.
