The Company Salemo & Merca Lda, was created in Seixal on 18th of August 1982 in Portugal by their actual manager’s partners: Salemo de Almeida Madureira and Joaquim Elias Sabino Merca.

In the beginning the company was turned for the metal assemble of structures and metal-mechanic, and quickly entered in the labour of equipment and components for the electronics industry of high precision and telecommunications.
Consequently, with the certification for the products we win a strong position in the sector and a real presence in the market.

In the beginning of 90´s, with the development of the activity, the company need to increase the investment, in substructure production equipment.

At this turn, we assert in the technological renewal for the labour system, with the insertion of new technological equipment with resource to the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines.

This Company initiate its activity with a cover area of 100m2 today there’s more than 11.500 m2 and with a total surface of 30.000m2.

In 1994 with the problems of physical limitation area, the company bet in the construction of a new establishment in Palmela with a 20.000m2 area, where they level a nave with 6.000m2 of covered area.

The investment between 1994 and 1996, allows the company to reorganise his structure, to do new innovating and ambitious projects that as been perspective. This investment was around the 5.000.000 €, which permit a new space and new equipment to the company.

One of the new spaces was the construction of an R.W.T.S. (Residual Water Treatment Station), the acquisition of a Zinc Coating Automatic Line, a Punch machine with guillotine, Bending and Lath CNC machines.

Therefore in March of 1996, was a change to a new and modern local, full with the most recent productive resources and labour conditions that was decisive to increase national and international market quote.

From the Korundstrahlanlage up to the top coat we offer our customers service to the finished part or realize surface finishing in wage labor.

Special longevity finally get the products with the KTL primer in conjunction with electrostatic powder coating. The automated powder coating plant with drying oven can reach even for large thick-walled components at least 2.5 m / min belt speed.

In the cathodic dip coating (KTL) is the coating of large-volume parts with dimensions up to 3000 x 1200 x 800 mm and a weight up to max. 400 kg is possible. The powder coating is done in-house. Galvanic coating types, as well as magnesium anodizing coating, hot-dip galvanizing and Wet varnishing we offer through cooperation partners in close proximity to our company.

The company SAM Coating GmbH has its headquarters in Bammersdorf, north of Nuremberg and is represented by the Managing Director Dr. Andreas Schneider and Stefan Zimmermann. The company specializes in products of thin film technology. Offered are coating systems for components and tools. Sam puts this coating a PVD and PACVD technique to 8μm are realized in the layer thicknesses. The layers are applied, for example, in machining, metal forming, or in high temperature environments. Thus, the tool life is to be increased, improving the durability in high temperature applications and the friction of the contact surfaces can be reduced. Sam coating promises a wealth of experience and also offers tailor-made solutions.
