Since its formation in the year 1946, Werner Schmid GmbH has been managed as a traditional family-run company; it is now being led by the third generation. In our technically ultra-modern plants, we mainly manufacture components for the automotive and ventilation industries as well as for measurement and control technology. Apart from metalworking and plastics processing, the domains of design and development, tool-making and further processing are also among the pillars on which the success of our company has been built. Moreover, Werner Schmid GmbH also offers its in-house toolmaking facility for selling tools. The focus of our company is on high precision in the production of highly complex parts as well as specialisation in hybrid technology in which metallic components are coated with plastics. The constant modernization and expansion of our machinery is a key feature of our company. Overall, we have 27 machines in operation, including 14 CNC - lathes, four horizontal and three vertical machining centers. The average age of our equipment is 4.6 years in the last two years, seven new machines were purchased. Through continuous investment, it has become possible for us to be able to manufacture technically advanced products that require a high level of expertise. West Bridge Engineering was founded by Andrew van der Bruggen in 2006 and specializes in manufacturing small to medium-sized precision parts using CNC turning and CNC milling. West Bridge has an extensive machine.
