Our company was established in 1993. At present, we have about 160 employees and the turnover amounts to CZK 240 millions.

Our technology is focused mainly on metal working, pressing of sheet segments, wire leveling and separation, shielded welding, welding at automated works and metal-working at computed machines. Now we dispose of 3800 m2 of manufacturing areas and 2000 m2 of storage premises.

Company Info
In March 1913, a factory manufacturing agriculture machinery was established as part of a join-stock company, H. Cegielski in Poznań. This factory became a base for our long term production and business activities. In 1952, the company gained legal existence under the name of Metallurgical Works “Pomet”. In 1994, “Pomet” was converted into a join-stock company.
Our foundry is located in Poznań and we have over 90 years of experience in the casting of carbon and low alloy cast steels as well as aluminium and copper alloys.
Production activities of the foundry include a wide range of castings for marine engines and spare parts, ship equipment, railway rolling stock, mining equipment, container corners, fittings, valving, and others.
We supply complex castings that meet worldwide standards in terms of quality and technical requirements. We employ 300 highly qualified engineers and workers. POMET S.A. has its own design and technological departments, which are supported by the successful implementation of ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System.
Approximately 30% of our general turnout is exported to the European Union. Our future development and expansion plans aim to modernize the technology of castings, in order to constantly improve their quality. We also apply effective environmental protection policies in compliance with international standards.

I. Stell castings
• Single Weight since 5 till 5000 kg,
• Capacity up to 5000 tons per year,
• Serial production of castings having max. weight up to 250 kg.
II. Aluminium alloys castings
• Single weight since 0,01 till 150 kg,
• Capacity up to 150 tons per year,
• Gravity castings in green sands and/or die castings.
III. Copper alloys castings
• Single weight since 0,01 till 300 kg,

IV. Heat treatment division with full computer controlling system.

Steel castings for shipbuilding
We offer a wide range of steel castings for slow speed diesel engines – stationary and marine main engines. Castings are produced from high quality carbon and low alloy steels, quenched and tempered, which meet world marine engine building regulations.
Castings for railways
We offer steel castings for locomotives, cars, other railway vehicles, and also for spare parts.
Fittings
We produce valve body castings appropriate for different media, industrial lines or reduction – pressure measurement station.
Non-ferrous castings
We offer Al alloy castings, including rough or machined items for:
• railway vehicles,
• fittings production,
• air compressors,
• marine industry,
• electric powered tools,
• artistic products.

The ZMT Oesterlein GmbH was founded in August 1990 by Fritz Oesterlein as a "one-man operation."



Over the years the company has grown into a medium-sized company approach in the areas of assembly automation, mechanical engineering and machining.



Currently, 63 employees in the field of development, design, production and assembly are employed.



Covering an area of 3200 m² of a small village in the district of Schwäbisch Hall is produced in Wälderhub.
