In May 1997, our company has been established under the former name and in the structure of a general partnership as WBB Hofemeister & Partner GbR by the shareholders Michael Hofemeister, Uwe Fischer, Jens Rimasch and Michael Stieger.


As the site of our company, we have chosen a new production hall in the Bürknersfelder in Berlin-Hohenschonhausen. Here are the first parts are stamped then from standard plates using state of the art CNC machining equipment, has been lasered and bevelled. In the second processing line we saw our task from the beginning and in the production of sheet metal enclosures for electronic components and control panels and signs, primarily stainless steel, engraved and polished for different purposes, for the most part, however, in the elevator, for use which came and come.


In January 1998, a series production for the OTIS GmbH & Co. OHG was begun, with various specifications on which our company was instrumental in running to this day successfully and with highest quality.Over the years we have due to our effective business policies expand rapidly and currently have a client base of over 60 regular customers.


Today you can find at our site in the Bürknersfelder road next to the management and administration, training rooms and production areas I, II the stockyard and shipping.

The enormous growth of our production volume resulted in the late 90's to an expansion of a portion of our production in a commercial environment of Plauen road. Since the end of 2004, we managed to bring all areas of the company on 3,722 m² of rented production and office space in the Bürknersfelder road back together. Thus we are capable of the necessary technology and production processes optimally and therefore cost-coordinated.

On top of that we can respond due to the modern machines, equipment and communications technology, such as online connections of all CNC machines with our in-house computer network and cutting-edge programming and resource planning software to customer requests very quickly and in high quality.High-precision measurement technology and a balanced system of internal quality assurance based on our quality certification according to ISO 9001 manufacturing standards guarantee a very high level.

By change of name to the WBB sheet metal working GmbH & Co. KG 2007, we intend pursued to give the huge increase in corporate status to the corresponding external frame.

Wegener steel service manufactures semi-finished steel products for various industries such as B. vehicle, bridges, wagon, and ship building, as well as for manufacturers of wind turbines. Our core competence is the cutting and bending of small and large components with a length of up to 30 meters. We cover a wide variety of material requirements qualitatively and quantitatively with our extensive machinery.

A well-stocked warehouse for primary material in combination with our destacking system ensures you a quick, reliable and cost-effective material supply.

Since 1986, the medium-sized company WEIHBRECHT Lasertechnik GmbH in Wolpertshausen stands for precision and perfected products.
