The company Jerg - Feinmechanik- Werkzeugbau was founded in 1950 in Überlingen on Lake Constance. With our 3 employees at the Überlingen location, we mainly produce turned and milled parts. In 1948 Moritz Kurt Juchheim founded the company M. K. Juchheim GmbH in Fulda, and started the production of high-quality glass and glass contact thermometers. The trade name JUMO is derived from the name of the founder (Juchheim, Moritz). The product spectrum was gradually expanded after 1950. In 1985 Bernhard Juchheim, son of the founder, took over general management. The mother company was renamed as JUMO GmbH & Co. KG in June 2003, to match the naming of the international subsidiaries.
