Strategic business areas

The business at HÖRMANN Automotive is divided into three strategic business areas: Truck, Off-Road and E-Mobility.

In the "Truck" division, we specialize in the manufacture of frame and BiW components for commercial vehicles. In the commercial vehicle frame in particular, we cover a holistic technology portfolio through the manufacture of frame side members, frame add-on parts, welded assemblies and tubes and are available to our customers as a system partner.Due to our extensive technological competence, we provide our customers with valuable input and advice on cost-effective and innovative component design in the early phase of product development.

The company HP Metal was established in 1992 as a one-man company in the workshop of Wöckl-yard, although not as planned starting a business, but rather than initiative, since a nearby company, today's partner company Faschang, a competent partner for welding was looking for.

Our dynamic growing company was established in 2006. We are focused on metal processing orders mainly for OEM in automotive industry i.e. palettes and special palettes. Our products are utilized by leading OEM as MERCEDES-BENZ, BMW, AUDI, PORSCHE, MAN in their assembly operations. Our product line comprises of course also other types of steel structures including welded components, mouldings and components cut by flame (autogenous or plasma arc) as well.

For over 30 years in charge of the special education center for disabled eV people with special needs. At our institution, therefore, also includes its own workshop for the handicapped (WfB).

We are a small company in the field of metal construction and are always looking for new challenges.

In 1961, Hubert Bulach in Baden-Württemberg Gammertingen the company Hubert Bulach, arts and crafts metal goods. Over the years, the company was restructured to supply work in the stamping and welding area. A consequent expansion was then 1986, the own tool and die making.

Meanwhile, the complete tube processing is possible.

Punching - Bending - Pull

On several eccentric presses and hydraulic, CNC-controlled punching and stamping press with die cushion, we manufacture parts according to drawings, samples or customer with a press capacity to 200 tons and a clamping area of 1000x1200 mm.

Furthermore there is a controlled press brake for bending sheet metal parts up to 4mm thickness and 2000mm length.

Further processing such as surface treatment, welding, riveting and assembly to the finished part, we like to take over for you.

MIG - MAG & TIG

For precise and high-quality welds, a welding robot is used.

In addition, we have the possibility of producing welds on bends or angles bows with a controlled rotary welding table.

Bolts and spot welding operations are also carried out at us.

Rohrbiegetechnik

After drawing, sample or customer specification, we turn your pipes up to diameter 42x2mm and a length of 4 m on a CNC controlled pipe bending machine.
Further processing measures such as end form, punching or welding are also carried out by us.

Toolmaking

Tool designs in 2-D and 3-D area are created according to customer specifications, parts drawings or information from us.

The roots of our company dates to 1948, when Forgemaster Liborius Eilers has his own business with an agricultural machinery trade in Werlte. From the beginning, a clear focus on quality and flexibility were the focus of entrepreneurship. After Hubert Eilers in 1984 over the management there was a realignment of the company. The Eilers GmbH now evolved from back Landmaschinenhandel the successful supplier of welded assemblies. With Christian and Frank Eilers today is already active in the 3rd generation of the founding family in the company management. Around 80 qualified and committed employees are currently on solid team. More than 6,000 tons of steel, we process around 8.000qm hall space annually. Our range is as varied as the needs of our customers. As a supplier for large manufacturing companies, we specialize in the production of steel products, laser, edging and profile parts. Our products are used among other things as search truck bodies and commercial vehicle chassis, as cranes and cabs for underground LHD, in wind turbines as well as components in agricultural and construction machinery. State of the art production facilities make it possible to edit the design in 3D CNC-controlled production to initial sample inspection reports on 3D measuring machines, virtually any data and drawing documents.

Years of experience and a largely self-trained staff allows us to implement safe production of complex tasks in the situation.

Precise milling and wire EDM in air conditioned rooms give us the opportunity to manufacture cutting tools with an average gap of less than 10 microns.

In series production, we rely on machining centers manufactured by Heller with a pallet changer.
With speeds up to 16,000 min-1 and rapid traverses up to 90m/min and aluminum parts are to be machined economically

Another mainstay is the manufacture of devices for the mechanical manufacturing, welding machining and measurement and testing tasks.

Certified welders ensure a stable basic structure, annealing furnaces for stress-free post-processing, and milling machines up to 5 axis for precise stop points in space. Modern 3-D coordinate measuring machines also help in free-form surface area to verify the accuracy measure to record and document.
