The D&W Group consists of five independent limited liability companies.

Each company specialises in a separate field, such as tailor-made steel and plant construction, specialised machinery and equipment and mechanical processing.

In addition to these core business activities, the D&W Group manufactures semi trailers and chassis for containers and trailers, and operates as a contract manufacturer for the mechanical processing of metals and plastics.

What is today the D&W Group began in 1991 with a company called MWD - Mechanische Werkstatt und Dienstleistungsgesellschaft mbH. It employed ten people and operated primarily as a supplier to the construction and metalworking industry.

Over time, the company was able to extend its range of products and services by acquiring additional premises and plants, some of which are located on adjacent sites to the parent factory. In the course of this expansion, the following companies were established:

•D&W Feuerfest- und Isoliertechnik GmbH (1993),
•D&W Stahl- und Anlagenbau GmbH (1993),

Today, the companies of the D&W Group employ about 150 trained workers and have an annual turnover in the region of 12 million Euro.

From 20 years Eckert is a producer of CNC cutting machines designed for shape cutting. The machines designed by the Eckert company engineers fulfil the modern technology requirements thanks to application of the newest design solutions and highly developed digital technology in the devices control systems. Our assets are: perfect quality, professional consultancy, high class training of the process engineers and maintenance personnel, express service.
The Eckert Company has installed almost 800 systems for oxy-fuel and plasma cutting in the national industry and in the European countries.
