The company FDB - wire bending and stamping parts was founded in 1995 in Allersberg.

In the years that have passed, we have been able to expand our company further. In 2003 a move to larger production halls became necessary.

We found this in Hilpoltstein, Industriestr. 18, where we still have our headquarters today.

We currently employ 40 people.
The company is run by the Bode and Frassa families.

A brand new development in the field of web application are heavy springs from inconstant wire. This construction enables a progressive course of the spring characteristic. In operation, the trains at low loading are soft suspension, whereas with increasing loading the suspension is harder.

The resulting pressure force of a spring differs depending on the position of the spring ends from getting on the geometric center line. Under load, the springs have a tendency to shift vertically. Accurate measurements of the transverse deflection and paired set of springs with the same behavior ensure in the primary spring stage uniform load distribution in the bogie for optimum quality and high safety against derailment and ensure in the secondary suspension stage for a symmetric status of development on the bogie to comply with the allowable light room.

Move rotary motion of the bogie in curves and traveling through switches the secondary spring is forced into an S-shape.Nevertheless, the spring coils should not touch and do not lift the spring ends. Extensive testing methods ensure at Grueber for the safe operation of the component spring in practical operation.

Compression Springs: In the range of dimensions, shapes and finishes. We process wires and rods of 0.2 mm to 20.0 mm in diameter as well as materials with rectangular or square cross-section up to 15 x 15 mm.

Extension Springs: In the range of dimensions, shapes and finishes. Oesenform according to customer requirements. We use different materials in the wire diameter range from 0.2 to about 10 mm; 10 mm to 16 mm without lugs, but with tabs or threaded inserts.

Rotation and torsion springs: in the range of dimensions, shapes and finishes. The combination of turns, thighs and shapes are virtually no limits.
We process materials round, square and flat wire diameter range from 0.2 to about 6 mm.
Larger wire diameter on request.

Bent wire parts: We have an excellent infrastructure for the production of wire bending parts in a variety of shapes and finishes for medium and large series.
We process materials in the diameter range from 0.2 mm to about 6 mm.

Flat springs: leaf springs are metal mold parts which possess elastic properties, to clamp, hold or rest. The great diversity requires an enormous mobility and overview. We use different materials in thickness from 0.1 mm to 4 mm, width up to 300 mm (cold or hot worked). Other dimensions on request.
Processing in hard condition or processing in soft condition with subsequent tempering.We manufacture flat spiral springs and disc springs.

Stampings: We develop and manufacture for you Stampings according to your wishes and requirements. We advise you from the design to the mature part series. Our modern prototype workshop provides you with a short first sampling.
The necessary tools are manufactured in our own workshop and our new punching and bending machines manufacture your parts at high speeds with maximum precision.

The FederTec Produktions-GmbH distributes technical springs, turned parts, wire bending & Stampings Customer order. We also manufacture in the stamping and forming tools for foreign customers. But we do not only manufacture according to specifications of drawings and samples, but also provide a service in addition to the creation of prototypes. We support our customers in the part modeling in conjunction with the overall set-up. A technical examination of the drawing to manufacture is carried out in the port. We support our customers from the idea to series production.
