In 1937, the company was founded by Josef FLECKNER in Plettenberg.

The majors activities of the enterprise are cold pressing of parts, equipment manufacturing, mechanical processing of the products (turning, milling, electro-contact welding, turning with automations and technical processing) and galvanic coating (coating with zinc, nickel, chrome, copper, oxidizing and electrochemical polishing).

In 1948 Moritz Kurt Juchheim founded the company M. K. Juchheim GmbH in Fulda, and started the production of high-quality glass and glass contact thermometers. The trade name JUMO is derived from the name of the founder (Juchheim, Moritz). The product spectrum was gradually expanded after 1950. In 1985 Bernhard Juchheim, son of the founder, took over general management. The mother company was renamed as JUMO GmbH & Co. KG in June 2003, to match the naming of the international subsidiaries. At the same time, Michael Juchheimwas appointed as C.E.O. with power of sole representation, as was his father, Bernhard.

Now in the third generation of activity as a family-owned enterprise, JUMO has a staff of more than 2,200 employees throughout the group. It is very well established, with 5 subsidiaries in Germany, 24 foreign subsidiaries, and more than 40 agencies around the world.

Today, the extensive product spectrum from JUMO covers components and system solutions for the measurement, control, recording and analysis of physical and chemical parameters. The products range from sensors for temperature, pressure and analytical measurement to the control and recording of measurement data. These instruments and systems are used in a very wide variety of sectors in the capital goods industries.

The support of the two prefabrication divisions for metalworking and electronic modules provides the company with a fast, flexible response. And customers can acquire everything from a single source – from simple system modules to complex process software. JUMO does not restrict itself to offering standard items from large-scale production, but is always oriented to the needs and specifications of its customers. The company KABU-Kuhn Forming GmbH was founded in 2002. As subcontractors we work to order according to customer requirements.

We produce stamping, bending and drawn parts of metal. We have particular experience in the processing of stainless steels.

The produced parts can be washed in our industrial washing machines and thus delivered from oil and grease. There are a drum washing machine for bulk and pass a washing machine. When washing in the continuous washing machine the parts retain their scratch-free surface. Furthermore, we assemble modules and assemble with spot and projection welding on our two welding machines together. Also the welding of nuts and standard parts is possible.

The picking of the goods is the number of items and packaging on request.

We are always interested in new business areas and are able to produce for all areas punching, bending and drawing parts. To fully meet customer orders, we offer in cooperation with renowned moldmaking companies in the manufacture of tools.

Our engineering office was established in 1954 and is headed by Dipl.-Ing Peter Kaczynski since 1988.

From the beginning, the focus was the procurement of machinery parts in the international supply markets.

For 20 years, these are primarily Foundry products from worldwide manufacturing, as
Steel investment casting, stainless steel investment casting, lost wax casting, sand casting, permanent mold casting, die casting, aluminum investment casting. Furthermore, we also supply MIM parts (metal powder injection molding) and sintered parts. Also, turning parts, stamping parts, metal stamping bending parts and forging parts belong to our program.

Mechanical machining (CNC turning, CNC milling), heat treatment (hardening, vacuum hardening, induction hardening, carbo-nitriding), surface treatments (zinc plating, electro polishing, polishing, chrome plating, nickel plating) are now standard.
