Kovinc d. o. o. is a family manufacture and service company. The beginning of the company dates back to 1989, when Pavel Žvelc started producing wrought Kropa lamps and ironmongery work. The volume of production started to grow and the production programme was gradually supplemented. In 1990 we built a new hall and bought new machinery. We targeted our production towards manufacture of various metal products for the needs of builders’ joinery and light metal constructions. In 2001 the founder’ son, Damjan Žvelc took over the company. At first, he operated a Sole Trader business, but in 2005 a limited liability company Kovinc d. o. o. was established.

We are noticing a growth in operation of the company. Currently we sell the majority of products and services in the domestic market. We also started increasing sales in the foreign markets.

We are specialised for three basic production programmes:

metal interior equipment programme
light metal constructions programme
programme of products for complete graphic image of buildings

We also offer a wide range of services for modification the sheet metal and profiles on the state-of-the-art CMC machines. We constantly follow the technological progress and upgrade our production. We offer products and services, such as constructing, advising and on site installation to our customers. We obtained an international certificate for welding according to ISO 3834 standard. We have all the necessary agreements and certificates for our products. Especially, we want to point put the SIQ certificates for our advertising boards

KOVINOTOKARSKA RADNJA MANDIC NANDOR was founded 21.May 1975 which is now certified by ISO 9001:2008. We offer our costumers Turning and Milling Services in small and big series. In order to achieve the costumers requirements we developed our production during all the years with new CNC-Machines (CAD/CAM). We are specialized in producing flanges, bushings, screws, nuts, pins, small groups with internal assembly.

We are a Slovenian company and we work with manufacturing parts (piece production) on the cnc turning and milling machines by specifications.
We are curently working with several notable European companies such as Mahle Slovenia and Moog Germany.

The company was founded in 1993 ARTIP gegründet.Wir have specialized in the manufacture of precision turned and milled parts. In 2006 the conversion of the individual companies in a KOVOARTIP Geselschaft mbH was. We use the most modern CNC machines in the highest Qualitäet and deliver the parts to our customers in the whole EU area.

Our main program is production of Al sand and permanent mould castings in a total weight of 850tons per year destined for mechanical, textile, building and automobile industry, art casting and equipment for towns and municipalities. Our mechanical work-shop provides full cutting of aluminium casts and other materials (brass, steel, plactic and others).

History of our company

Tradition of Kovolit Česká dates back to 1936 when we started with building and production of drink fittings and bell-casting. Bell-casting had been done by Mr Manousek by 1953. Afer that this production was moved to Zbraslav. The production of drink fittings was finished in 1990.
Present situation

Nowadays Kovolit Česká specializes in production of aluminium sandcasting and moulds. Our 50 years´ experience in this field represents profound knowledge that can be seen in quality and accuracy of our deliveries. Total annual production is roughly 900tons of Al moulds per year. The main customers are engineering, textile and construction companies. The weight of aluminium casts are from 0.10kg 400kg. Our foundry offers models, moulds, cores and a process of sand drying. Due to customers´ wishes we also provide heat treatment, hardening, x-ray of aluminium moulds and testing of mechanical qualities of materials. A mechanical work-shop, that provides cast machining, milling, turning, grinding, drilling, varnishing and production of mechanical parts from all kinds of materials (Al, Ms, steel, stainless steel, plactic and others), is a part of our company. Kovolit Česká employs about 130 workers.
