SC FIVEX SRL has more than 50 years of experience in metal processing. In the beginnings casting metals was the main activity, but soon the need for processing appeared. Thus emerged new departments specialized in machining and metal welding and the workshops developed into a real size plant.

The production plant-located in Romania and 100% owned by Romanian shareholders-covers an area of 30,000 sqm, including specific constructions and is equipped with its own gas station and its own secondary electric cell.

In the last years the company went through an extensive process of modernization, and nowadays is equipped with top production equipments. For upgrading there were selected partners like DMG-MORI SEIKI for the mechanical engineering branch, SAF-FRO for cutting and welding, STRAALTECHNIEK for surface treatment or KAESER for compressors.

Fivex performs 2D/ 3D design and modeling for industrial parts and assemblies. For this purpose professional design software (CAD / CAM / CAE) is used. Projects include full details about manufacturing technology, operational time, material consumption, costs.

Within the plant are mounted, equipped and packed parts for machines and industrial equipment. Fivex’s mobile teams provide on site services for equipment installation and metal structures construction.

Fivex performs revisions, current interventions, repairs and refurbishment for mining machinery, energetic equipments and high capacity transport facilities.

We are a small company with big ambitions, always looking to exapnd our production line.

Our company was founded in 2016.

We started with 2 HAAS CNC Milling machines and soon after that we expanded our production and bought 3 more CNC milling machines and one turning lathe.

Last year we bought one new 4 axis CNC Milling machine.

We can procuce all kind of parts from al type of materials: aluminium, steel, brass, plastic, steinless steel.

The company Jakob Schäfer was in Kaiserslautern, Mühlstr in 1926. 9 of machinist - champion Jacob Schaefer founded.
Mr. Jacob Schaefer worked in the tool room Pfaff
, where he took his master's certificate in 1919. First founded Mr. Shepherd has entered the bicycle mechanic Guild, and worked as a guild master. It then bicycles and motorcycles were sold and repaired.

Before the second World War II was furnished a cylinder grinding and turning shop.
1944 destroyed a bomb attack the entire operation including residential house and a shop.
After the war, Mr. Schaefer from the ruins of an emergency shelter
built with a small workshop.
Companies - with the currency reform, the structure of today's "Shepherd" began. House and workshop were created again.
In parallel with the vehicle sales and the turning shop was built, so that in 1950 the first jacks, the Federal Railroad Central Office, could be sold in Speyer at the time.

The two operating branches vehicle and turned parts production had increased to 1955 so that the existing business premises were no longer sufficient. Therefore, in 1955 the purchase of a hitherto community-owned 10,000 square meters of grounds with a building of 300 square meters floor area and 200 sqm floor.

The turning shop was moved to Weilerbach and managed separately from the vehicle sale as KG.
As a complementary acted Mr. Jacob Schaefer, limited partners were Mr. and Mrs. Hedy Werner Hilbrath Hilbrath.


Since 01.01.2001 is also Jutta scouring manager and responsible for business administration and the personnel office.

As of 01.01.1982 the sole proprietorship was changed into a limited liability company. Managing partner was initially Dipl.-Ing. Werner Hilbrath.

Since 01.01.1995 Mr. Mechanical engineer Rüdiger scouring held this position.
Shareholders are Elke Palm, born Hilbrath and Mrs. Jutta Scheuer, bornHilbrath.

In 1990 the office building was enlarged by 100 square meters. After the construction of an additional hall in 1998 the operation are around 2,500 square meters of covered factory area available.

Currently, the annual turnover of 4.5 million euros at an average of 45 employees.
The GL is based on German quality and the production does not outsource to neighboring countries.
