As a metalworker, we have several CNC bending machines with which we can also create complex tube geometries.

Combicore processes materials such as steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper). We assemble bent tubes and profiles into ready-to-assemble end products.

With our multiple award-winning Combicore casting cores, you can create channels for cooling or oil supply in cast parts.
Combicore cores consist of a shaped metal casing and a special filling material. This means that Combicore cores are extremely stable and can also be used reliably in high pressure die casting (HPDC). At over 1200 bar Combicore casting cores still retain their shape.
Media-carrying channels are implemented efficiently, quickly, reliably and cost-effectively in one pour. Finally, the filling is removed and the metal casing remains as a channel in the cast part.
In this way, highly efficient cooling channels are created, which ensure optimal temperature control of the near-net shape cast part. Lubrication channels are also typical applications in the automotive sector.
With Combicore, casting cores can be used in high pressure die casting for the first time.

The company was originally founded by the engineer Hermann Rohrs 1919 in Magdeburg. In 1932, his son, Dr. Werner Rohrs the management. Under his leadership, the company has developed into a specialist in the manufacture of springs, especially for high vibration loads and accelerations. Since 1946, the company is based in Sonthofen im Allgäu and has evolved from recognized experts for demanding technical springs for comprehensive Stahlverformung specialists.

Today, the company is working on a production area of over 11,000 square meters and is a specialist in the design, production and testing of particularly high-quality technical springs. The continually evolving product range includes compression springs such as coil springs, disc springs, disc springs screws, multi-wire springs, special springs back to precision springs made of round, flat or shaped wire. We process a wide variety of materials in wire diameters of 0.2-16 mm.With our spring products, we achieve high performance with maximum durability in small installation spaces and under difficult environmental conditions. Each of our products is therefore designed to individual customer request, and produced.

The mainstays of the product range today include not only technical springs and flame tubes and the production of lift and cable car facilities. The Dr. Werner Rohrs KG sees itself not only as a manufacturer always different machine elements and accessories, but especially as a problem solver for their customers. Decades of experience, our intensive research and development work, coupled with our extensive inspection and testing laboratories, allow us to work with our customers to offer customized products to many areas of use.
