The focus of our work is the construction and assembly of stair and balcony railings through to larger steel structures for industrial applications. Our company Metalldesign Schmitt was founded in 2010 and is based in the restored ensemble of the former Saarbrücken-Burbach railway repair shop, which has been prepared for all kinds of businesses. With few exceptions, the well-preserved buildings date from the time when the factory was founded (1857) and thus contribute to the unmistakable character of the location.

For high quality and fast processing of your orders we have a 18-member staff of experienced locksmiths sheet with letter welders and machine operators.

Our production area has been expanded to 1,500 m², there is work on modern Trumpf laser and various press brakes.
