We, the Rex Industrie-Produkte Graf von Rex GmbH is a medium-sized company with about 75 employees. The company is based in Vellberg in the Hohenlohe region between Schwäbisch Hall, Crailsheim and Ellwangen.

We have specialized in niche applications:

Technical textiles for heat protection and insulation

Insulation products of inorganic / organic fibrous raw materials for fire, heat, cold and sound insulation

Fire protection products for building construction

Friction and sliding materials (REX 2000) for industrial applications

Moldings in vacuum forming

Metalworking for mechanical engineering and special engineering


Our products are customized and application specifically designed depending on the problem. They are characterized by excellent technical characteristics and consistently high quality. They are quick, handle clean and safe.

Our main areas of application are mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, railway, power plants, military and industrial standard and special solutions.


The introduced and practiced quality management system is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2008.

Furthermore, the quality management system for certain products, correspond to Module D (production quality assurance) of Directive 96/98/EC on marine equipment and is regularly reviewed and certified by the See-BG.

Rimec Group is a company that manufactures mechanical components for a variety of industrial sectors. We have been investing for years both in technological research processes and in the development of leading-edge solutions for the mechanical products machined in our workshops. We have specialised in the construction of shafts and worm gears for winches and reduction gearboxes, link and pivot pins for lifting systems, adjustable stretchers and anchor fittings for fleyer chains, track rollers and sprockets for construction equipment undercarriages, and Twist locks, which are safety components for the handling of containers. We hold UNI EN ISO 9001-2015 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015.
The Rimec Group corporate structure is able to handle all phases of the order, starting from purchase of the raw material through to delivery of the finished product, which can also be assembled in our contract assembly division to the customer’s specifications. All processing steps, from issue of the order to shipment of the finished product, are handled by a computerised bar-code system.
Apart from its in-house machining and other processes, Rimec is able to draw on its know-how and a dense network of partner firms inside and outside the group to deliver special heat and surface treatments, such as Case hardening, Induction hardening, Ferritic nitrocarburising, Galvanisation Painting, Chemical nickel plating, Chromium plating and Phosphating

Started in 2022 as a small engineering service provider, RiSo also manufactures special machines in the field of suction technology with hydraulics, pneumatics and control technology.

Thanks to our partner network, we are not only able to offer special machines and welded constructions, but also large quantities of precision steel tubes as well as stamped, bent, laser and milled parts.
