We are a small family business that deals with many activities.
We manufacture steel platforms, welded constructions, roofs, railings, handrails, steel components, stainless steel (predominantly 1.4301) and aluminum alloys. In addition, with our machine park, we are also able to carry out small series as well as single part production in turning and milling work.
Recently, we have been accompanied by a flame cutting machine, with the help of which we can also produce thicker plates independently and at short notice.

Laser and bending work are no problem for us and our neighboring companies, which means that sheet metal working is also possible.
We are also happy to take over 3D CAD work and can thus offer you an all-inclusive package. :)

Schmitz-Spezialmaschinenbau GmbH was founded in Rhöndorf in 1994 and developed into a specialist in special machine construction just a few years later.

In the following period, the company earned an excellent reputation as a manufacturer and supplier of complex solutions for technically sophisticated special machines. Today, Schmitz-Spezialmaschinenbau is a highly innovative company based in Rheinbreitbach at the foot of the Siebengebirge near Bonn.

With our highly motivated and qualified workforce of currently 24 employees, we are constantly producing new special machines and complex individual workpieces, in close cooperation with our customers.

Schoch stainless steel stands for High-end quality in special parts made of stainless steel and other difficult to machine materials such as Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel and titanium. Complete machining according to customer drawings, special and direct contact are of course for us. Likewise, we reliably fit standard goods to meet specific customer requirements. Series parts are available directly from our warehouse to the best conditions.

Since 1970, we deal with stainless steel. Our core products are fittings, valves, flanges, weld fittings and steel bars and stainless steel tubes.

SCHÖMA - In the team we develop traction!

Founded in 1930, SCHÖMA - Christoph Schöttler Maschinenfabrik GmbH - is a manufacturer of rail vehicles and specializes in the development and production of customized, individual transport solutions.
Especially in tunneling, SCHÖMA locomotives are used in almost every well-known underground construction project worldwide.
Shunting and factory locomotives for in-plant transport in the raw material-producing industry as well as service and maintenance vehicles and special locomotives for use in amusement parks are also included in the scope of delivery of SCHÖMA.

On the basis of an economical modular system, SCHÖMA offers its customers a large variety of equipment and variants. Our designers develop individual technical solutions for a wide variety of rail transport problems.

For decades we guarantee a secure worldwide spare parts supply.

Our strength lies in the development and production of locomotives and rail vehicles in customer-specific design, even for the smallest quantities up to lot size one.

Underground and tunnel locomotives

For tunnel gradients up to approx. 7%, we have developed a special drive system that ensures the necessary traction even under poor track conditions.

Factory and work locomotives

For such applications we develop shunting locomotives up to approx.
80 t weight and 700 kW engine power in all worldwide standard gauges.
Our references cover steel and building material companies as well as the chemical industry.

Special rail vehicles

For special transport requirements, we offer locomotives, which are usually required in small quantities for special purposes. These are tourist railways and amusement parks as well as working and light rail locomotives, which are mainly needed for narrow gauge rail networks.

We develop, design and produce in terms of process integration with creative solutions in the areas Schweißbau and products handling. Among process integration we mean a procedure that includes the complete manufacturing and logistics process. Expensive, time-consuming and quality-reducing interfaces, oversizing and subsequent operations are largely avoided. We act workpiece in the gram range as certain as large parts weighing up to 15 t. The individual company stufenvier was founded in 2017 as an engineering office for welding technology and occupational safety. We have continued to develop to this day. The change of name to stufenvier GmbH was followed by the establishment of an in-house welding production facility.
