Today the Walter Widmann GmbH, a family-owned company is now already in the
3 Generation.
Our grandfather, Walter Widmann founded the then metal factory beginning of the thirties.

In the fifties, the core business was the Lohndreherei, mainly of bearing bushes and similar parts.

With the rapidly progressing development of plastics technology, our company has grown to become a competent supplier of technical plastic parts.

A milestone was the development and patenting of our wire feed units in the late sixties. This technology opens up completely new areas of responsibility, which are the mainstay of our company to this day opened.

The production of injection molds makes up an important part of our production program. Based on a drawing of the product or of a 3D model that is transmitted to us by the customer, we create the production methodology, based on which the tools are planned. If required, we can also create computer simulations. The simulation results help us to find a more rapid optimization of tools and thus shorten the manufacturing time. The tools are then tested in our cooperators, where we can produce smaller series. We achieve high quality and the possibility of the immediate use of the tool in the series production.
