In 1967, Dösan Heat Treatment, in order to serve in the area of casting and heat treatment was founded in İzmir 1st Industrial Site by a farmer father and his three sons and commenced its activity. In those years, heat treatment was not considered as a commercial activity. Addition to casting of copper, brass and aluminium, once a week, Dösan did heat treatment by changing casting crucibles to salt bath crucibles.

Our company led to investment by the developing technology and be obliged to make investment in 6 items atmosphere controlled ovens and vacuum ovens, vacuum gas nitriding oven besides 10 items of surface hardening with induction workbenches. Thus, the opportunity of carrying out all kind of service is gained by the heat treatment foundation having the highest capacity in our country. A metallography laboratory founded in the new factory with the thought of making quality prior to production. In this laboratory, all kind of metallographic investigation could be done with metallographic specimen preparation equipments (the instruments of cutting, grinding and brightening) microvicers hardness measuring instrument, microscope, magnetic particle crack-control device, spectrometer and universal hardness instrument. With this feature, it becomes an initial one in the terms of laboratory in İzmir.

1995 merged the Fürstenwalder foundry with the company

1996 started planning to build a new foundry in Duke forest, on the existing campus, next to the old factory. Ground was broken in October 1996. The first Gießtag the new plant was the 09.09.1997.
