Hermann GmbH Maschinenbautechnologie, based in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate (Bavaria), is a medium-sized, owner-managed company with an annual turnover of around 20 million euros.
Over the course of the company's more than 20 years of history, the company has initially established itself on the market in the area of contract manufacturing with an extensive range of CNC machines. In line with the motto “Everything from a single source”, customers in mechanical and plant engineering are offered: welding, mechanical processing, sandblasting, painting and assembly.
In recent years, it has also been possible to create numerous references in drive technology in the hydraulic steel engineering sector. These include the new construction of the Bremerhaven Kaiserschleuse, the Harburg Port Lock, the Augsburg High Ablass, the Rugenberger Lock and the Greifswald Storm Surge Barrier, which was awarded the German Engineering Prize 2016, among others. Work is currently underway on the construction of the 5th Brunsbüttel lock chamber (Kiel Canal), the renovation of the Great Wilhelmshaven Seeschleuse and numerous other projects.
We currently employ more than 200 people at 5 locations in Bavaria and northern Germany.

We are a business with long-term experience in the automatic metal-working in the fields of tools- and mould-making. Determination and the willing to succeed made us an innovative and leading manufacturer. Modern and practice-oriented CAD-CAM-techniques with numerous work stations for 3D-design and NC-programming are installed. Your CAD-data can be taken over to our systems by every available format and data communications (ISDN).

The surfaces produced are the basis for the NC-programming. Above all we are specialised in the qualitative demanding free-form milling of moulds and tools for the automobile industry and aero industry. Our machinery equipment includes NC- and HSC-machines, e.g. from Droop & Rein, Henri Liné, with production paths 1 400 mm x 700 mm to 6000 mm x 3500 mm and 40 t work piece weight.
