Since its formation in the year 1946, Werner Schmid GmbH has been managed as a traditional family-run company; it is now being led by the third generation. In our technically ultra-modern plants, we mainly manufacture components for the automotive and ventilation industries as well as for measurement and control technology. Apart from metalworking and plastics processing, the domains of design and development, tool-making and further processing are also among the pillars on which the success of our company has been built. Moreover, Werner Schmid GmbH also offers its in-house toolmaking facility for selling tools. The focus of our company is on high precision in the production of highly complex parts as well as specialisation in hybrid technology in which metallic components are coated with plastics. Social and ecological responsibility for the region are as much goals of our company as are sustainable growth, continuous further development, and innovation.

The constant modernization and expansion of our machinery is a key feature of our company. Overall, we have 27 machines in operation, including 14 CNC - lathes, four horizontal and three vertical machining centers. The average age of our equipment is 4.6 years in the last two years, seven new machines were purchased. Through continuous investment, it has become possible for us to be able to manufacture technically advanced products that require a high level of expertise. This is also business policy of Werner Scholz GmbH: focus is the production of elaborate and complex parts and assemblies that are produced in single and serial production.

Meanwhile, we have expanded our range of services. This includes, inter alia, degrease, passivate and coating - even the most difficult part geometries - from the millimeter size up to size 2 x 7 meters in over 120 constantly restocked colors and types of powder. Four powder coating booths for the hand and an automatic cabin are available in two shifts available. Since 2013, we also have a KTL coating system for small and large series.

Shortly after the foundation of Westerceller Maschinenbau GmbH in 1976, the construction of a turning shop started as a job shop. Well-known regional drilling companies and international companies from the oil and gas supply industry were quickly won over as customers. The slogan "turning-grooving" has become increasingly important since the mid-1980s and the number of employees has been increasing steadily since then. With an experienced and motivated team, the constantly growing demands that customers place on WMB are reliably met.

With the purchase of adjoining commercial space and the construction of several new production and storage halls, the company was considerably expanded in the years 1999 to 2001. In 2011, the decision was also made to set up a professional quality management system.Quality management (QM) describes all organizational measures that serve to improve the process quality, the services and thus the product in any way. Westerceller Maschinenbau GmbH is constantly developing and is excited about the challenges of the future. We don't go crazy with demanding tasks, but always deliver quality of the highest precision.We manufacture individual parts or small series according to customer drawings on our conventional, cycle-controlled or CNC machines. From simple wrench flats, bores, chamfers or threads of all kinds through filigree frame parts to axisymmetric components with rotary tables mounted on machine tables - we can easily manufacture it for you. In addition to plastics and aluminum, we also process high-strength materials such as stainless steel, titanium alloys or Inconel. Our machine park also has drilling / milling machines specially designed for the drilling industry with a travel in the X axis of 8000 millimeters for machining pipes. Sawing the various materials is also part of our daily routine. We cut up to a material length of 13 meters and a maximum of 400 mm in diameter with our KASTO saws. We also offer various options for confusion-free product labeling, from the classic number of strokes to laser marking, as well as extensive quality control using modern measuring and testing methods.

Tasks that our internal processing cannot perform are also no problem for us. We work with reliable partners who do additional work for us with the usual high quality standard. This includes straightening, blasting, bondering, deep drilling, honing, peeling, welding, coating, eroding and much more. Various heat treatments according to specifications with subsequent material testing by ultrasound, hardness measurement, surface crack testing and X-ray are also possible without any problems.
