Our Company's History and Development

Tometh KFT was founded in 1997 as the successor to a sole proprietorship that had been operating for five years, with the aim of providing high-tech solutions for the engineering industry, prioritizing customer needs. Over the years, we have continuously expanded our workforce and machine park. Today, we operate more than 20 modern, computer-controlled production equipment, and our team has grown to 52 employees.

We have been operating our ISO 9001 quality management system since 2002, which is now fully integrated into our in-house developed production management system, supporting quality-focused manufacturing. In addition, in 2019, we implemented the ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

We utilize a modern enterprise management and MES system in production, and we have been operating paperlessly for nearly 12 years, with a strong emphasis on digital systems for data collection and statistical analysis. Our goal is to achieve robotic machine servicing for medium-batch production (1-500 units) and to implement robotic shop floor logistics. We already have operational divisions in this area, supporting efficient and innovative production.

Through technological developments, we have also established the conditions for manufacturing and assembling assembled units. Currently, we produce 50-100 different assembled units and over 1,000 types of parts, regularly serving about 20 clients.

In recent years, small-batch assembled unit production has opened up a new, strategic field for us. We use our CAD-CAM systems not only to support our own manufacturing processes but also to provide design and prototype manufacturing services for our clients. Our goal is to offer long-term, value-added partnerships to our customers through our modern technological expertise, contributing to their competitiveness and success.

TORUS GmbH & Co. KG is active in the field of sheet metal and metal processing. We manufacture complex and sophisticated welded constructions from structural steels, high and low alloyed steels as well as aluminum. Thanks to our highly qualified team of employees, we are able to meet the high quality requirements of our customers. In addition, we offer a comprehensive service through component assembly at our company, in which reliable suppliers support us.

We are a trading and manufacturing company that is already over 5 years successfully operating in the market. Our main activities are supply precise burnouts and rolled plates of various kinds of conventional mild steel, stainless steel, boiler plates and steel for decoration.

BURNTS

In the area of flame cutting, we offer complete services.

Modern CNC flame cutting machines allow precise manufacture of internal parts of the highest quality to plate thickness 300 mm and imports from EU countries we can even offer parts up to 500 mm thickness.

LASER

Jobs that place a high value on the accuracy and cut surface quality of the internal edge, can on a laser firing plant with exact dimensions up to max. 2000x6000 mm and a plate thickness up to 25 mm can be processed.

OXY AND PLASMA

With oxyfuel cutting torches or plasma jets we cut workpieces of a single weight up to 12 tons and a sheet format to 3000x12000 mm.

Our professional quality and technological equipment make our company capable of producing both carbon steel products and stainless steel products. Our machinery without any claim to completeness: CAD programs, CNC edge benders, hydraulic and eccentric presses, automatic cutting machine for plates and long goods, simple machining technology, robot with robotic arm, welding machines for every welding process.

The production activity of the company is the production of various metal structures. In the production process, we use a laser machine, which ensures quality production and a quick response time for the ordered product. In 2005, we invested in a new sandblasting and a new varnishing chamber, thereby achieving a high-quality surface treatment of the products and greatly reducing the environmental load with dust, rust and other impurities. In 2017, we invested in the purchase of a state-of-the-art laser cutting machine and a computer-controlled bending machine.

We deal with on-site production and assembly of stainless steel and aluminum equipments, products and parts.

Our Hungarian - owned company was founded in 1996 . Since 1982, the core members have been exclusively engaged in the manufacture and installation of stainless steel equipment, so we have more than thirty years of specialized professional experience.

Our office building
In the early years we worked in a 100 square meter rental property, which gradually expanded to 200 and then 400 square meters as machines and tools were added.

In 2003 we bought a 3,300 square meter stand-alone building.

Our current workforce consists of 18 well trained locksmiths and welders. In the 550 square meter workshop you will find machines for sheet metal working, lathes and milling machines, modern welding equipment for welding stainless steel, as well as grinding machines and tools for aesthetic finishing.
