The Saxonia Precious Metals GmbH is since the beginning of the 17th Century in the Freiberg region existing tradition of mining and processing of precious metals continues.
Already in 1612 the "hut on the Halsbrücker Spat" was founded.
1663 "Halsbrücker smelter" by the Saxon Elector was taken. Later it was renamed the "Royal smelter".
1861, it was then launched the gold refinery neck bridge.

Today, presents former subsidiary of Deutsche Nickel AG Technology Group in the core areas of precious metal recycling and processing as a recognized and reliable partner of the user industry. Modern and environmentally sound facilities, innovative products, motivated and experienced staff and a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001-2000 document the performance and competitiveness of the company.

The Saxonia Holding consists of four manufacturing companies at two locations in Germany.
At the site Halsbrücke about 200 employees, and at the Pforzheim location employs about 150 workers.

SC FIVEX SRL has more than 50 years of experience in metal processing. In the beginnings casting metals was the main activity, but soon the need for processing appeared. Thus emerged new departments specialized in machining and metal welding and the workshops developed into a real size plant.

The production plant-located in Romania and 100% owned by Romanian shareholders-covers an area of 30,000 sqm, including specific constructions and is equipped with its own gas station and its own secondary electric cell.

In the last years the company went through an extensive process of modernization, and nowadays is equipped with top production equipments. For upgrading there were selected partners like DMG-MORI SEIKI for the mechanical engineering branch, SAF-FRO for cutting and welding, STRAALTECHNIEK for surface treatment or KAESER for compressors.

Fivex performs 2D/ 3D design and modeling for industrial parts and assemblies. For this purpose professional design software (CAD / CAM / CAE) is used. Projects include full details about manufacturing technology, operational time, material consumption, costs.

Within the plant are mounted, equipped and packed parts for machines and industrial equipment. Fivex’s mobile teams provide on site services for equipment installation and metal structures construction.

Fivex performs revisions, current interventions, repairs and refurbishment for mining machinery, energetic equipments and high capacity transport facilities.
