The “Moneva GmbH” is an independent aluminium foundry of the Frech-Gruppe. Our parent company Frech in Schorndorf-Weiler is the market leader in the production of hot chamber pressure die casting machines and a leader provider of cold chamber pressure die casting machines.

The “Moneva GmbH” was founded in 1971 and currently employs 80 persons operating in 3-shifts.

Our parts spectrum reaches from 0.005 kg up to 4.500 kg piece weight. We have been certified in accordance DIN EN ISO TS 16949 since 2005.

A large percentage of our pressure die casting tools are produced by the toolmaker’s shop in our parent company Frech. They have over 15 years of experience in construction with a high performance “3D CAD” system. Fill simulations are also done in coordination with us.

For four years now the outline contour insets are being manufactured in the toolmaker’s shop in Frech using HSC-mills This enabled us to achieve considerable improvements in tool life and accuracy in dimensions for multiple tools.

We supply about 60 % of our parts spectrum to the motor vehicle industry, 20 % to the mechanical engineering industry and electrical industry and about 20% for the building technology sector. Our main product emphasis, apart from filigree surface parts, is placed on the production of gas and pressure-sealed aluminium pressure die cast parts for brake units, hydraulic components and gas regulator housings for example. Our clients in the automotive sector include Valeo, Bosch, Siemens VDO, Pierburg, SHW, Conti Temic, Mahle, Harman Becker. Other main clients not automotive are Argo, Festool, Flex.




Our machinery for pressure die casting currently consists of:

The units are all equipped with temperature control devices and the latest modern peripherals. The big pressure die casting machines are used as linked casting-cells.

- 3 x CNC machining centres (“Chiron FZ 12” )

We are intensively working together with high performance external partners to compensate for order fluctuations.

We annually process about 1200 t of aluminium alloy, the main part being the alloy 231 (“ GD A1 Si 12 cu”).
