Our primary scope is serial production of metal parts on cmc milling centers ,development and production of machine tools. Our beginnings date back to 2002 when we started to manufacture components for the tool and engineering industry. According to the needs of the market we soon expanded to include the manufacture of complete tools. In early 2009, we have decided to extend the activity to the development and assembly of the hardware, electrical and other industries in order to able to offer our customers the entire process from the idea to series production of components. Quality of our products is provided in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 What We Offer: serial cnc milling: 3,4 and 5 axis machining on high productive CNC centers. Machining materials are inox , tool steel , aluminium... Toolmaking: We are able to make tools up to the dimensions of 1500×800 mm and weight up to 2000 kg. Design and development: We design tools or machines, as well as produce final and intermediate products, based on the requirements expressed and with the help of CAD technology. Since our founding in 1983, we have specialized in the design and manufacture of inductive components according to customer requirements, transformers, relays, and the manufacture of electromechanical assemblies. For our products we maintain a well-equipped mechanical workshop, which is often underutilized. Our focus in the mechanical workshop is therefore on the production of small quantities of special turned and milled parts and their pre-assemblies. GTK-Prototype UG was founded in 2014 by Tobias Günther and initially dealt with rapid prototyping machines. Over the years, CNC milling and turning as well as assembly and development work were added due to customer requirements. GTK-Prototype develops and designs on behalf of customers as well as internally using the most modern CAD systems such as Solid Works, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360 and others and inserts them into a comprehensive CAM system. At our sites in Kornwestheim,and Mosbach we manufacture technical plastic injection molded parts both in large series with annual quantities of over 1 million pieces and small series with annual quantities of 1000 pieces. Efficient production lines always guarantee you the best price. The required injection molds are manufactured in our own mold shop or ordered from our network of German and Chinese mold makers. Metal parts to be overmolded are mostly purchased from our sister company located 30km away. Our customers therefore receive their plastic parts directly from one source. On modern plastic injection molding machines we produce plastic injection molded parts from all thermoplastic materials with a weight of less than one gram up to 3kg. As an injection molding specialist, we process almost all conceivable plastics for the production of technical plastic parts. A high degree of automation of our injection molding process allows us to produce molded parts in small, medium as well as large quantities within our injection molding shop. A large portion of the injection molding machines are equipped with robotic systems and material feed conveyors. Machinery: We use only high-quality ARBURG and DEMAG injection molding machines for the production of your plastic parts. In total, we have access to a capacity of more than 25 injection molding machines. Injection molded parts can be produced with a part weight of 0.1g to 3000g. Injection molding machines are available for this purpose at the Kornwestheim, and Mosbach locations with clamping forces of 20- to 1300-tons. Injection molding materials: We can process almost any plastic material ("molding compound") in our injection molding machines. All common raw materials, such as ABS, PA, PE, PP, PET, PMMA, PC, POM, PS, ASA, SAN, TPE (in various shore hardnesses) but also high-performance plastics such as PEEK, PVDF, PSU as well as bioplastics and WPC (wood-plastic compounds) with wood content of up to 70%. Of course, all individual colorings are possible as well as the equipment with various additives (UV resistance, antistatic, etc.), fillers (glass fiber or glass ball) and of course also in V0 equipment (fire protection and glow wire resistance).
