We are a small, in the area round, and flat grinding well qualified company in southern Germany. We specialize in the manufacture of precision components mainly made of tool steel and carbide. We also offer good skills in turning and milling.

As experts in metalworking, we produce tools, molds and parts for you that you need for your individual application. In addition to classic and demanding toolmaking, we have primarily specialized in wire EDM. Wiring or eroding is a very accurate process that requires the greatest care. Of course, turning, milling and grinding are also part of our everyday work, which we integrate competently into the ongoing production processes.

We are a strong and reliable partner for single part and series production, as well as production of spare parts, sample parts and special parts. We deliver ready-to-install machined parts or complete assemblies.

We manufacture our tailor-made products from all high-quality materials and special materials, as well as carbide, non-ferrous metals, acid-resistant steels, insert and tempering steels, high-alloy steels and plastics, including all warmth, surface treatments, high gloss polishes and welds.

Our customers are from various industries, as well as automotive industry, automotive supply industry, food industry, mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology and packaging industry.

The predecessor of the company was founded in 1956 and now acts as Fazekas GmbH. To meet the market needs, we asked ourselves from the solution of the general problems in the service of the population in the production of spare parts and tools, the repair of industrial machinery, equipment meant um.Die modernize our machinery is an important step forward in the quality and also the quantity of manufactured products rose considerably. Parallel to the investments we introduced the quality control system ISO 9001, which we use today with success. Recently we expanded our field of activity with the planning of single-purpose machines and tools as well as 3D processing.

Every year we spend expenses for development and learning about the latest technologies. Under our current plans, the establishment of a branch is at a European level, so that we can serve our customers quickly and very accurately. Our goal is to have a growth rate on faster and more stable base, the more satisfied customers among our partners.

The company FDB - wire bending and stamping parts was founded in 1995 in Allersberg.

In the years that have passed, we have been able to expand our company further. In 2003 a move to larger production halls became necessary.

We found this in Hilpoltstein, Industriestr. 18, where we still have our headquarters today.

We currently employ 40 people.
The company is run by the Bode and Frassa families.

We, the FEBU are a medium-sized company with 29 employees, and headquarters in the industrial area of Burbach – Würgendorf, plant road 19, with direct connection to the A45.

The foundation of the company FEBU dates back to 1965.
At that time the father of the current managing director Andreas Fey started with the production of punching, pressing and drawing tools, as well as with the production of windshield washers made of metal, in the rooms of his parents’ house.

Due to the increasing demand, the constantly growing space requirements were initially met with the construction of a 150 m² production and storage hall in Burbach-Holzhausen in 1970. Due to the further steady growth of the company, the production and storage areas were moved to Burbach-Würgendorf in 1988, not least because of the favourable transport connections. Through expansions in recent years, a total of 5,350 m² of production and storage space is currently available.

In the following years the product range was extended in all areas.
Stamping technology

With the founding of the company in 1965, the production of the first stampings for the company’s own windscreen washers and water slides began. In addition to the production of stampings for the company’s own products, other customers were quickly acquired and sales were continuously increased through constant investment in the latest machines. Thus, the most modern automatic punching machines and eccentric presses up to 200t pressure are available. For further processing, we have welding presses, automatic threading machines, as well as stud welding equipment and various special machines. Here a production can take place on tools manufactured by us or provided by you.

Among steel (blank, galvanized + coated) and stainless steel we also process non-ferrous metals.

Injection moulding technology
With the decision of the current managing director Andreas Fey in 1993 to implement the production of plastic injection molded parts for the ice scrapers and windshield washers in house to be able to react faster and more flexibly to customer requests, he laid the foundation for the current 16 machines comprehensive injection molding production. After the purchase of the first injection moulding machine it did not take long until further articles from other areas were added and the first 2-component injection moulding machine was purchased, first for the production of the first own 2-component ice scraper, later also for further customer-specific articles. Gradually, the injection moulding production was expanded and finally, with the takeover of the company Schmidt Kunststofftechnik (founded in 1955) at the Biedenkopf-Eckelshausen location in April 2020, a second location was added.

Toolmaking
The in-house tool shop, with which the then founder of the company Horst Fey laid the foundation stone, is still the pillar of all production areas today. Thanks to our ultra-modern tool shop, we can react quickly and precisely to customer requirements and maintain our tools accordingly. Here we design and manufacture punching and injection moulding tools with a tool length of up to 2,000 mm, as well as fixtures and mountings for various machines.

Cleaning equipment and ice scrapers
The production of cleaning equipment includes the production of metal windscreen washers and water sliders, as well as the production of various plastic windscreen washers and ice scrapers. By investing in the most modern machines and developing our own products and tools, we are still able to produce competitively in this field.

Since its foundation in 1965, FEBU has been able to establish itself throughout Europe. The export, also beyond the European borders, shows positive figures.
Due to a manageable number of employees the company remains flexible and can react quickly to special customer requirements.

The FLAMMMOTEC GmbH & Co. KG was founded (formerly STAN DRAWING, since 1954) 1993. We manufacture in the works of Berlin and Nauen stamped and drawn parts, primarily for the automotive, white goods and electronics industries, primarily in the United series. Other strengths lie in the field of manufacturing of components. We specialize in die-castings of medium size to large stampings (pressing force of up to 16,000 kN). Our stamping presses and transfer presses have table sizes up to 5200 x 2300 mm. The manufactured parts have up to 13 kg in weight and up to 1 m². In addition, welded assemblies are produced on a modern 6-axis welding robots (1 m³ action space, part weight up to 1000 kg) and spot welding machines.

Production

Our parts range covers all types of forged parts in all grades of material from small parts up to parts of approximately 1 m². For years we have specialized in the field of deformation of aluminum and stainless steel sheets (also in sandwich construction).

In our pressing plant single, progressive or transfer dies are used up to a weight of 25 t. There are automatic punching machine with a printing speed 1000-16000 kN and a table size of up to 5200 x 2300 mm. There are additional single presses with a pressure capacity up to 6300 kN in use. For the production of sandwich parts (especially shielding plates made of stainless steel) is a 8000-kN large-scale press.

On our punching machines are used to coil up to a width of 1200 mm and a plate thickness up to 5 mm, depending on the section that process.

We are predestined for assemblies, ie. For the implementation of welded structures with six-axis welding robots and automatic joining of nuts and bolts In order to achieve an optimization of the work, we have assembly, placement and spot welding machines in use.

By working closely with our partners, we are able to also surface coatings and galvanizing on grafts from powder coatings to cathodic dip coating offer.

Logistics

As a supplier with world-resident customers, we measure the Logistics Management utmost importance. As requested, we deliver just in time and place value on adherence to your requirements in terms of delivery quantity and packaging.

Here we support a modern, always with the latest requirements customized IT technology. Our logistics department handles your incoming EDI, Internet or fax calls immediately and ensures that production, storage and shipping can implement your requirements promptly and respond to your needs.

We work together on request as specified by you or by us carriers commissioned reliable partners and respond quickly and flexibly when difficulties arise.

Toolmaking

Our tool guarantees us a high degree of flexibility for changes and remakes of assemblies to customer specifications.

It is an important partner of our pressing plant because downtime is minimized through him.

Through close contact with our production, the tools are optimized in the short term.

Preventive servicing and maintenance are an important prerequisite for safe production. 20 toolmaker / maintenance have three layers in use.
