GUMOTEX, akciová společnost, is the succession company of the enterprise that set up its business with the production of protective clothing made from rubberized textiles in Břeclav in 1950. Since 1952 it has acted as an independent company under the name GUMOTEX. Initially it manufactured surface treated materials, later it launched the manufacture of inflatable products for sports in the leisure time e.g. air mattresses and inflatable boats. A big production expansion came up with the polyurethane foam production in the 60s and 70s of the last century, when the main partners of the company became the customers from the furniture and automotive industries.

The company is the biggest national processor of polyurethane foam. For customers from the furniture industry several foam mattresses and various moulded parts are manufactured, for automotive sector several foam pads for seats, headrests, sun visors and other small parts for the vehicle interiors are made. The company manufactures rubber compounds and materials the surface of which is treated with special compounds and which are the basis for the manufacture of inflatable mattresses, various articles for sports and leisure time (inflatable boats, inflatable kayaks and canoes, rafting boats). The production range is completed with the production of special products, e.g. inflatable tents and boxes and any other pieces of equipment for the integrated rescue systems.

The core business of our company is production of conveyor components, machine elements for open pit mines.
Main components that we produce are made of steel, but also we produce various rubber , polyurethane and plastic elements,
Due to constant development of our company we invested in CNC milling, cutting and turning machines.
We have large capacity for production of rubber elements - molding in process of vulcanization.
The elements made of plastic or urethane are either injection molding or cast pouring.

We are a company that manufactures plastic injection molded parts. We manufacture with more than 20 years experience plastic parts according to customer wishes.

With our integrated tooling we manufacture according to technical drawings for patterns or tools with minimal cost. We have 16 injection machines with a Einpritzvolumen for plastic from 1 gr to 6075 gr and a Schliesskrafft 80-800 tons

The company “Hafelder Kunststoffwerk” was founded in 1945 by Mr. Ing. Zittmayr in Hafeld (Upper Austria).

Back then, only plastic injection machines were used (source drinking basin production).

In 1990, the company was acquired by Friedrich Gruber and continued to operate as a plastic injection moulding plant.

Later, the first spare parts for spring basins were produced in-house. (First machine - Emco 342S).

More and more lathes were gradually purchased, including two machining centers.

From 2000, the company moved to the new premises of a former office furniture factory.

Currently, around 100,000 turned parts are manufactured every month from a wide variety of materials such as brass, stainless steel, copper, cast iron, plastic, titanium, steel, etc.

In 2002, another turning shop (Ing. Arzberger in Trumau), including machines and customers, was taken over.

As a result, our company was almost doubled in size and renamed Hafelder Präzisionteile GmbH.

In recent years, production has increasingly switched to special, turned and milled parts and mainly parts have been manufactured

which must meet high requirements or have very low tolerances in the thousandths range.

As a Swabian family owned company based in Nagold we are a recognized partner of the furniture industry, the woodworking crafts, hardware-dealers, architects and designers, builders and investors. With 10 sales offices spread over the entire country, and over 100 specialized consultants, we are always on site at our customers.
