FERAMO M.I. is one of the biggest modern grey cast iron foundries in Central Europe. FERAMO M.I. has got 350 employees with annual production 16 000 tons. Our company export more than 70% of annual castings production to most of European countries and oversea as well.

FERAMO M.I., found in 1932, is a grey cast iron foundry. In the years 1970 1990 the foundry came through an extensive modernization whereby arose a modern producer with large possibility and castings line. The integration of traditional and modern technology make possible to produce a very goodclass castings for a different industrial spheres.

Castings from grey cast iron GG 15, GG 20, GG 25, weight 0,5 120 kg, are basis of our production. On automatic moulding lines DISA 2013, 2032 there are produced castings which weight 0,5 35 kg in quantity of mass production. On conveyor line there are produced castings which weight 35 120 kg in quantity of a lot production. The patterns are produced in our own pattern shop.

Our quality assurance program is implanted in different phases. All the checks are practiced with independent operators who make both: input control of materials and output control of finished products.

Manufacture of fittings for doors and windows

The main activity is the manufacture of precision turned and milled parts
on CNC machine tools.

In addition to small and medium series, we also manufacture items according to customer
with and without material provision.

By working with powerful regional and national companies
are also heat treatment, surface finishing and gear cutting of the manufactured products possible.

The last audit took place in September 2008 in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 instead.
In the summer of 2008, a material warehouse was grown.

Our foundry, Ferro-Preis was founded in the mid-20th century in the city of Čakovec, Croatia, under
the original name „Foundry Čakovec“. Since then there has been a long tradition of development and production of grey cast iron products and castings. In the year 1991, Foundry Čakovec became part of Jägersberger Group (www.preisgroup.com), based in Pernitz, Austria and the company name has been changed to Ferro-Preis d.o.o. Čakovec.
As its own product under the brand name FP PREIS® SML, Ferro-Preis Čakovec develops, manufactures and distributes the certified SML system of drainage pipes, fittings, couplings and other sewage products.
Company also manufactures a variety of castings made of grey cast iron according to customer
specifications, such as housings of electric motors, pumps, bearing housings, gear castings, adapters and other components for industry. With an annual production of approx. 8000 tons and more than 180 employees, the company Ferro-Preis is one of leading grey cast iron foundries and producers in southeast Europe. Castings are produced in range from 1 to 1000 kg in automatic, mechanical, hand moulding and centrifugal moulding lines, with different machining and surface protection possibilities.
Company also offers consulting services and own design to create complete manufacturing solutions.
More than 90% of the production is sold to export markets, mainly customers from EU (Austria,
Germany, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Sweden.... among others).
Ongoing and future oriented investments in the employees and technology provide the strong market presence. Quality systems and environmental protection are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 certificates.

In newly-built production rooms with 3,000 m2 area are advanced production equipment such as laser cutting machine Trulaser 3030 from Trumpf, punching nibbling machines from Trumpf and bending-press made by Trumpf.
